is it supposed to make you feel like your arms are floating and make you feel all wobblly? Just started this shit today. Called the doctor and he said it's some of the side effects, but I didn't see "Gets you baked without all the inhaling!" in the pamphlet. :|

I wouldn't have taken that. Did you research it at all, or did your doctor inform you about it beforehand?

So you're a brat eh, Juggs? Not paying attention? Running around out of control?
Back in the old days they had a really good treatment for that... they got a nice willow branch, took all the little branches and leaves off it... and whipped the little bastards with it until they shut the fuck up and did what they were told.
Look at ALL THE PEOPLE that had "adhd"? Seriously... who doesn't have it? Anyone?
I think it's a scam... ADHD is just psychobabble for being a disobediant fuck that needs a more regular dosage of beatings.
Side effects may include mild skin irritations from the lash, moderate muscle pain from the beatings, and moderate to severe paranoia about when the next beating is coming.
The treatment is applied as needed but unlike other treatments that require you to buy 60 dollars in pills a month, this treatment is extremely cheap and will CURE the patient within a little a few months so long as it's made clear that any relapse will result in further "treatments".
I know I'm kind of joking here... but I'm really not.

Did I research it before I took it? Yes. And the doc said it helps sleep aptney or something like that. BUT, I know I dont have fucking Narcolepsy or ADHD. Being hyper ain't my thing.
So you're a brat eh, Juggs?
More of a playful jackass. :nyah:
Not paying attention?
Attention to what? haven't been to school since like December.
Running around out of control?
If getting up and taking a piss is "running out of control", then yes.

most "treatments" for ADHD are stimulants... so what exactly was your reason for being perscribed this?... you doctor doesn't just give you shit for no reason... you come to the man with a problem and he tries to solve it... what's your problem?

Anxiety, panic attacks over stupid shit(Going to the mall...), depression, not waking up in the morning(Why I'm taking this, from what I understand). that's about it. Drugs I've taken in the last 2 months: Wellbutren, Xanax, Zoloft, Prozac, Melatonin(helps me get to sleep) and Adderall(wakes me up, I guess).
didn't make this thead for a debate or argument, was wondering if anyone had past experience with this, not someone who googles it and thinks they know everything about it from a webpage.
/done.

Damn that's a lot of stuff ^^
Bupropion (wellbutrin) is fairly safe, and causes less SF loss than most such drugs.
Benzodiazepine (xanax) causes drowsiness, and increases similar effects of other drugs that cause drowsiness... no wonder you couldn't wake up. Also, this stuff is addictive, and if you've used it for a few weeks and suddenly stop it may cause seizures.
SSRI's (zoloft) cause... you guessed it, sleepiness (or sometimes insomnia).
Fluoxetine (prozac) is a pretty common anti-depressant, but in 10 to 15% of users it actualy causes anxiety, nervousness and insomnia. That might have something to do with the sleeplessness.
Melatonin... wtf, you still need stuff to get to sleep after xanax and zoloft? hehe :) Ah well, it's a nice safe drug, can potentialy cause nightmares, but that's about it.
Adderall is a bit of a puzzler to me... it has insomnia as a possible side effect (along with some SF loss), and can cause nervousness. This stuff is pretty much only used to treat ADHD and to a lesser extent narcolepsy, I'm surprised it was perscribed to you. It's not entirely safe, and has been found to cause sudden cardiac deaths, strokes and MI's.
If I were you I'd ask your doctor why he persribed it in the first place.

aspertame is like tobacco... you'll get cancer sooner or later.
look at the profits of the pharms these days... look at the percentage of comercials they display on tv... look at how readily doctors (as seen here) give away meds to people who really might just do better by going for a walk once a day, or eating less Mickey D's... Come on America, people never used to have these problems in these quantities...

apparently a brain tumor at that...

well, look... a LOT of these meds are good... my grandfather dropped dead of a heart attack at 52 and he wasn't even fat. My dad is already older then that but might not have lived it weren't for blood pressure meds. Men on his side have VERY high blood pressure.
And my mother's side has an issue with retaining too much iron in the blood... it literally saturates to the point where the blood becomes toxic.
Medication can fix both.
These are issues not fixed by a fucking walk... if anything, the walk will kill you sooner in case 1...
What's out of control is the behavioral drugs. Drugs for people that can't sleep, or can't wake up, or aren't happy for some reason... or can't concentrate.
Look, unless you were kicked in the head by a horse... you shouldn't have a problem concentrating.
What has gone to hell is disapline... and I don't just mean beating your kids... which everyone should do more... but I mean self disapline. Don't eat so damn much... when it's time to go to bed, actually go to bed... staying up three more hours to do whateve is just going to screw you up.... concentrate... just do it.
etc.
I've been looked at just like lots of people and surprise surprise I've got ADD too... just like everyone else. How many people that are looked at for that don't have ADD? 1 or has the number risen to 2 people total... ever?
It's a scam... and once you're on meds that only causes more problems... and now you need meds to control hte side effects of hte meds you shouldnt' have taken in the first place.

As much as it pains me to say it i agree with karma, national service will solve alot of problems with todays socitity or how erver its fucking spelt. (im batted tonght).
Im aperently dyslexic (acording to tests), yet i can for the most part write/spell and its never been a real handicap, is never has been a drawback for me. Why? Cause i wont admit i have a 'disfuction' im just not great at spelling etc.. and i work arround it. Its the 'blaime culture' -its nor my fault i suck, is X- self disapline and self worth is only thing anyone should be concerned about. Fuck everything else.
The greatest statement of our and future generations is sumed up in the following statement:
--Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.-
The sooner mine and your generations realise that, the better off the world will be.
-dave.

Granted, some meds are very good. I just have trouble seeing a post-chemo victim on 40 pills a day, 20 of which counter the other 20's side effects. I just don't understand. There's gotta be a better way to treat cancer, but at the prices of chemo now, I don't think doctors are too motivated to work on it.
And I agree right on with the behavioral meds... "Jimmy isn't doing too well in school" "here, have some Riddelin.."
Come on, people.
karma, what are we going to when these people vote? I'm thinking of moving to a communist country so I can just blame the government, rather than the ignorant sons-of-bitches that are my countrymen. Maybe Canada will do. They're communist enough.
