HW2 CD Key invalid ........ im jonesin' for my HW2

Once again all of a sudden I get CD key invalid. Anyone got any ideas as to why? And any suggestions as to how I should go about finding out whats wrong?

Invalid CD Key Error

Note that if you get an Invalid CD Key error when signing into gamespy, this has something to do with the Registry CD key being corrupted(like as in deleted). Possibly caused by having the demo installed at the same time and/or uninstalling the demo after the full version is installed.

To fix the error, re-install HW2.

you can also mod the key right from the registry if yorue too lazy to uninstall/reinstall, but obviously not lazy enough to dig through the millions of entries... check the tech forums on RN, i saw it somewhere.
then again, you might just be better off reinstalling

Yeh, Divi, what Flo and 4E said, just re-install, should be ok after. Firetom told me the same thing when it happened to Celty and I....
