I'm looking for more information on how to acquire these, I know the spawn locations in Felwood, but not what is needed to acquire them.

Game sites are blocked here at work, so I am limited on what I can research.

Great map, but how do you actually harvest them? I read something about they have to be "cleansed" first.

If I remember there is an NPC at the emerald sanctuary that will give you a quest and the reward is used to cleansed them. there is 2 way to turn in the quest, with leather or seeds.

The npc is a tauren, just a bit away from the emerald sanctuary. When I talked to it, it would not speak and gave a msg about incoherent babble, and to go see the druid down the road. (emerald sanctuary)

When I went to see the druid down the road, the only quest she had was for something else, is the quest for tubers part of a quest chain?

You need to produce cenarion salve, either by turning in lesser nether essences, or by killing felwood mobs with your 'cenarion beacon' equipped. The reality is, learn the spawn points, other people cleanse them, eventually you will find one you can yank some tubers from.

If you are trying to do a voracity libram, I have 29 tubers, and a pile of crystal force in the bank that I no longer need so if you give me the other stuff I can make the arcanum.

At this time I only need the tubers as backup healing for my battles with the epic demons for the Rhok'delar Longbow. They are on a different cooldown than healing potions.

It's actually specific to whatever your gathering professions are. If you're an herbalist you can collect Fel Creep, skinners collect Tainted Patch of Skin, enchanters waste their enchanting mats :)

Talk to the Night Elf south of the Emerald Sanctuary (walks along the road there) to get a Cenarion Beacon if you do not have one. Then, just kill mobs if you have nothing else to collect the Corrupted Soul Shards (or w/e they're called).

The Tubers are also needed for the sexy 8 agi Libram of Voracity.
