By 11 O'Clock my sunder armor no longer took 7seconds to cast. We'd have gotten him pretty promptly but Holyban blew everyone up teh nub ;)

Fixed it thereafter pretty smoothly and promptly went to bed.

*sigh* Work cut out for us on Friday, and that couples naturally with fears the same damned crap will happen ... so we really gotta bust our balls and blitz through firemaw before the lag catches up to us around 9 o'clock.

You can do ebonroc and flamegor w/ serverlag ... not firemaw though.

Im sorry to hear the lag was bad yesterday. The reason i post this morning is beacause of a server restart as soon as i took my jacket off.

It's the second server restart i witness in 24 hours wich is not a good thing. I feel bad about what happened in BWL last night. We have the experience now to get to Chromaggus in one night and Blizz, sadly, can't provides stable server.

New technology FTW!

Let's just hope we are fast enough friday to have at least one good try at Nef.

This means i must log now and farm runes and pots for friday...It'll be a long and hardcore evening imo.

Right he is getting easy, though I still hate how much lag affects these encounters. It is not coming down to skill anymore, it is all about whether the server is running smoothly.

The only thing about having to do it multiple times that is good is our tanks have become truly amazing. All praise especially to Felores, who for whatever reason was a more sluggish tank coming into BWL. Now he's an ace as much as the rest of us are, picking up loose adds with conviction, speed and skill, handling transitions, and generally performing well in all situations.

We've had a pretty good mix.

The Claw of the Black Drake has dropped 3 or 4 times, I think in a row, for us. Rogues aren't complaining :)

On a side note, it was a damn impressive Vael kill if for no other reason than something clearly went wrong early in the fight - early tank death I believe (prompting a WTF? from Mike). As near as I can tell, not one Hero panicked. Warriors picked up Vael and refaced him. DPS moved into range. Healers adjusted on the fly to new tank order. Bam. Dead dragon. Very calm, very cool, very no-nonsense. Fun.

For some reason Gadiladre died before me. I.E. before he was taking any serious damage and before I even had BA.

But jes ... the other tanks picked up, and it was a godsend that we had Balrog on from Gadi's afk-ness, b/c he provided us a tank there w/ aggro to finish the job.

Plus we had ss's on first 3 tanks IIRC, so we were all slamming sexecutes into him at the end too. I think more than 50% of the raid was alive at the end, and that's what you're going for ... you lose 5 guys / minute to BA (one mana user every 15s + the MT every 45s ... the MT ba does not take the place of the 15s BA, you get two at that point) and the fight takes just about 3 minutes, so if you finish w/ >20 people alive (and we did), you did a damned fine job.

I am dead tired as well :( this morning i had my regular alarm set for 7 and my cell-alarms for various times between 7-8... I had thought i was awake at 8am, then a old-school song came on the radio so i was like i'll listen to this then get up... next thing i know i roll over and look at the clock at its 11:00 /rush to finish writing my lab to pass in and realize that i dont have stuff printed off for the lab i'll be doing today :tantrum:

i need to start getting in the habit of getting out of bed when my alarm goes off, sleeping for 'just 5 more minutes' or just 'listening to one more song' means 2 hours to me apparently, lol. I <3 sleep too much :D
