Gods - I really detest macho-type men making fun of other men, and trying to emasculate them because they're smarter. Stupid men think that they're impressing others by saying "u r teh ghey" and trying to make a more intelligent man look less masculine.

In my 37 years on this planet, I have seen my share of good looking men. I have also met some pretty intelligent men. And I'd take an intelligent man over some hawt bawd any day. I've been lucky in that I am engaged to a man who is not only intelligent, but witty, funny and damned good looking (if I do say so myself)...but I earned it. <laugh> I waited a long time for that kind of person.

Most men of character are also looking for a woman who have something besides fluff between their ears. Hooters are nice, but ultimately, you don't impress your mom by introducing her to your girl's C Cup...

As for my opinion on this topic, I'd pick a sense of humor over hawtness any day. I love surrounding myself with people I can laugh with, people I can share my every emotion with..meaning I'm drawn to the more sensitive, caring type than anything else.

Evelynn, my point exactly. Humor, wit, character, integrity...a stupid guy can't pull that off for long. The problem is with our society, but that's changing a bit. It's been said that if a guy is caring, sensitive or even emotional, he's either teh ghey, a metrosexual, or in the closet. Bah! Many men are simply not trained to allow themselves to be ok with that kind of stuff, so they cover it with machismo. Oh, and by the way, even though I'm in digital forensics now, my background is biological psychology and adolescent studies. LOL

Meh...I hope this guy in the thread on dalaran figures out what's important before he reaches the age of majority.
