to my parents anyway. Today is their 35th wedding anniversary I think. I mean I know the day is correct, I just don't know how many, it is always confusing. This is the middle day of my dad's most costly week+ of the year.

Congrats to VE for downing Nef. I don't care who they are, whether they are nice people or not (I know no one in the guild), but anyone who downs Nef deserves a well done.

Even more congrats to us though! Sure we only downed a big angry dog, but we downed that bastad in a total of 6 attempts. Sure that is 3 more than Flamegoer but give us a break :p. Either way great job by everyone, especially Belhop. Who somehow, managed to pick that dog up with it barely moving. I know he is good, but that was the luckiest crap I have ever seen and thankfully so.

Now it is time to reclear the instance and faster this time so we can devote a night to Nef. As someone said, once phase 2 starts, the fight looks straight-forward but it never ends up that way. I guess getting to phase 2 with a full raid is going to be the tricky part for the time being. Can you say Razorgore on crack? Anyway I look forward to going back through BWL to get back to this fight.

So I hate my mic. It was working fine and dandy last night. I go to work and come home and nothing. No sound, no feedback, no freaking nothing. So besides the TS test capability is there anything I can use to test my mic before I run out and buy a new one?

I have pretty much already conceded my bet to Waib. I have no chance since he is already level 30 with over 3 weeks to go. I realize the last 20 levels are going to take him longer but him needing no sleep on weekends and MC being on Sundays is really going to help him out. I think I might go out and buy some whitey tighties or a thong for the occassion.

Tonight is going to be a break from the game for the most part. I have to go buy the new mic for one, and then I am off to see Underworld 2. I might be on between 9-10 but that is only to raise the rogues herbing skill.

I hear healmeh will be ready to tank SM by the weekend. My rogue needs it too, so if anyone out there has an alt ready for it, let us know and we will waltz through the place. Hopefully I have time for it, but Saturday I have to go out of town for most of the late afternoon/evening, and Sunday will be broken up by a soccer game unless we get the early game again.

Eh, no one died, but it was pretty obvious that I wasn't focused (sloppy pulls, didn't hold aggro at all times and we probably could've completed another of their quests, had I been paying full attention).

Cut me some slack--I logged in at 6 in Orgrimmar and had signed up to be at Strat at 7. The Hinterlands is on a different continent, I hadn't eaten dinner and my boss called as we made our way up the temple.

And there were lag spikes.

And those nubs kept forgetting they weren't 60.

And there were tells from the angry group that was waiting on me.

And I hate that place.

So, I was playing with a fork in one hand, a phone in the other w/ a 5 second delay between when I activated an ability on my keyboard and when it was executed on my screen--It was kinda fun! ;)

I didn't have to make excuses in Stratholme--that's all that matters. :nyah:

P.S. How come the Baron gets to fight while mounted? Not fair.

Hrmm....like I haven't gone raiding while eating my dinner and fought off my dogs to keep them away from my food while having to entertain a 4 year old! Excuses! Every single one of them! Learn to PvE :p

And if he didn't fight on his mount, he wouldn't drop it for the lucky soul who is actually there when it happens.

I have a lvl 42 shadow priest that still hasn't done the SM quest :P I did SM with a group with i was 38 and didn't have the quest, so i got all the goodies i want, just not the quest xp :P I'd rather go dps, but i can heal *cough* bubble *cough* too if need be :P And i absolutely love SM, back in the day Lard and I used to run SM literally all the time, i'd say we did a good 30 runs in there, mmmmm SM!

Btw, tanking a 5-man Baron run is so much easier now that I'm a purplesaurus rex than it was 4 months ago when I was a green bean. We didn't even have a priest! Or maybe I just learned to play??

I still say we need to get as many HotC members together as possible for a night of fun! Mike & I have been saying this for months, but it just doesn't manifest. We should dedicate a night for this, or maybe the last friday of every month should be rotated to different local areas, etc.

Its probably both hatchet. We breeze through the Baron in under 40 minutes these days (10 man). I don't do 5 man anymore because it takes too long. Btw, we do it DW tanking at its finest. Baron has actually become super easy now that we have darkrune armor and resist 60% of his aura damage.

5-man is more funnerer and it took less than two hours. Plus, I still have a shit-ton of dungeon quests to cross out of my questbook.
