So I F'ING hate my PC. Random disconnects FTL. So we are in MC ready to take on the Imps...bye bye Telva. Reboot (usually works), stay off TS, login and all I get is a cancel button. Repeat the reboot process, login, get to the "success" screen, then.....nothing. Exit game, restart game, success I am in, I am able to mine a few DI, get into Luci's room, D/C. Able to get back into the game pretty quickly, but Eve gets to tank the dog for me. Everything is fine, line up to tank Luci add....D/C. Get on TS to have them tell Mike I D/C just in time to find out Luci had been pulled.
At that point I was fuming, I would have been much happier had I gotten Waib crit error because at least I would have an idea of what is wrong (bad RAM ftw), but oh no, I get nothing. So, I decided to make sure I have no viruses or spyware. Restart my PC to get it into safe mode, hit F8, nothing, reboots normally. Try it again, nothing. I say WTF (well I said a lot more colorful metaphors) and then reboot to try and get into my BIOS, hit DEL and.....nothing. Turns out my new keyboard doesn't like working until Windows boots (anyone know if that is a function of the keyboard, or because it is a USB?) So I replaced my keyboard and got into safe mode. Ran Ad-ware and SpyBot (<--- found alot more crap than Ad-ware even though it ran second FYI) and then Norton. No viruses but nothing horrible.
So finally I get back into WoW and everything is fine. Then again I was the only person left in MC and the only person left online in the raid group, so who knows. I got back into the PvP raid on the tower just in time to kill Azazle before I had to leave. So unfortunately I didn't have a test session.
Either way, I will raid tonight with my old keyboard after I uninstall the software for the new keyboard. Also, I am wiping the add ons directory again and reinstalling fresh (anyone know if there is a new version of Equipmanager?).
If this doesn't work, I think I am going to pull my old RAM and just run with the new stuff and see if that clears everything up.
I think yesterday just sucked for me in that game. First, I get all the way to Azshara, and there are very few veins to be found and no crystals. I notice Jonra, Thy, and Nos are farming carcapaces so I join them for all of two kills when WSG pops. I go to WSG only to see DOOM staring at me. Xel don't take this the wrong way, but DOOM farms HKs. They could have ended the game in about 3 minutes but it lasted about 15. I was the kill leader for the alliance with 3/8 (KB/HK). I think the DOOM leader had well over 30 kills. The alliance group sucked, no one would do anything in groups, and it just sucked. So I port back to Silithius, and we farm for about 30 minutes before I am told I have to go to the grocery store and liquor store. Come back just in time to get an invite to MC. And then the PC problems start up. Man I hate this game sometimes.
Ok enough bitching. It is time to refocus on BWL which is tonight. We need a smooth Razorgore kill, no wipes, and get everyone in a positive mood. Vael needs to go down in 3 attempts or less. Why? We don't want frustration setting in, and fewer wipes means more time for Broodlord and later. These are the goals and I am sticking to em! We know the strats on these fights, and the tanks know how to transition. There is no reason whatsoeva that this can't be accomplished. In an ideal world, Firemaw would go down as well giving us an entire night for Ebonroc onward.
