Well congrats to HotC on the 10-Boss clear. It took a little longer than expected but it was still fast by our standards. To put things in perspective, the 10-bosses last night took as long as our original 8 boss clears. It probably would have been faster but after Garr it seems like half the raid swapped out.
It was a good loot night too. A couple of people got to 8/8 or completed their epic sets (tier 1 + tier 2). I am uber glad that my giving up the first half of the raid was fruitful to the n00b tanks, as Jusfine got the guantlets and Adeste got the legs. Ya see the past 2 weeks, I gave up my spot and no Might dropped.
I was hoping to be able to put MC sign ups behind last night. I got super close but Rags didn't come through. I got the Might shoulders which was a secondary goal. Why? Because I won't be able to tank in them until I get 2 ZG enchants which isn't gonna happen at the rate the Aegis is dropping for us. But the shoulders do bring me to 7/8 Might which is more than I thought I would ever have. Unfortunately, Rags didn't drop the Wrath pants.
Another kill another MVP. My total is upto 23 now (I think) which is way way too many. I might have to consider dropping the points on the helm the next time it drops on Ony because hording them isn't very productive. Hopefully Razorgore is nice and drops that crappy mace of his Friday. I would definitely burn to get it. But the pants are a definite priority so I can get rid of the leg plates of the eternal guardian which have a crap ton of defense but no other stats. I want to perminantly venture into the realm of 7K HP after party buffs and upgrading the pants is probably the best way to do it.
So ZG is tonight, and although I really really want to go, I don't think I am going to have the energy or the time. I have a party to go to tonight, then I have a customer coming into work tomorrow, on top of which I am tired as hell from last night so it is looking like I will have to go to sleep at a decent hour tonight. Next ftw =/
Well I PvP'd last night for the first time in a while. Let me tell ya, PvPing with healers who actually throw the occassional heal your way make the experience alot more fun. I tell ya, Waib is the bomb when PvPing because of that. However I ran into a druid last night, who kept me alive on more than one occassion. Honestly, I think this is why most Horde teams/PuGs end up beating Alliance PuGs. It is very frustrating to be ganking on someone only to see their health go from 20% back to 50% over and over. It always happens to me whether playing against a PuG or not.
I don't understand the ranking system. I barely PvP'd in the past week (I think 16K honor), yet I am now half way to my next rank even though I had barely made it to Knight the week before. If this week is an AB weekend, I might be willing to pull it off the next rank and get the crappy blue armor (just what I need, something else taking up bank/bag slots).
More to come later, but I have work I need to go do.

I sort of watched from my computer. I was on for a little while, but just couldn't stay up to watch the whole kit & caboodle. I'd be more willing to sign up if I knew it would end by 11:30 at the latest, but that would mean we'd have to be in MC and running it by 6:30pm, and I don't know if that's feasible for everyone.
What that means is that I will no longer get to run MC. It sucks, but oh well.
As for the other stuff, the Dalaran forums are down. I blame Waibanez for uber-trolling the thing to smithereenies.

Oh Leri you are so wrong. You don't have to give up MC. You just need to find some gracious rogues to split time with ya. There has to be some well decked out rogues that don't need all the bosses, or people like Ralex who can't be on early. Just let your fingers do the talking and I am sure you will be back in MC in no time.

Who cares about those forums, you are supposed to make these forums exciting Waib. You know, your name is on them for a reason!
And yes I need massive amounts of sleep. Luckily it is going to rain here all day which is perfect nap weather. The one exception is the dogs are going to be overly hyper and probably won't leave me alone. It will be even worse tomorrow because it supposed to rain again which means 2 days of no-walk making them even more hyper and moody.

Battling for the Mine last night was fun, Telva. And yes, I was shocked (SHOCKED) to see your health bar go up even though Waibanez wasn't present!
I was even more amused when, in my zeal to go after you, the Mine was taken behind my back!
I was like, "aw, junk--healing AND ninja-ing! Go Alliance, go!" Fun game. Did you arrive late? Seems like their play went up a notch or two when I spotted you in the match. Or maybe that was just me getting all excited about seeing a familiar name?
I don't even bother wasting my breath in PuG raid chat anymore--any suggestion I make falls on deaf ears. Is it the same on your side of the fence? If you got a group of pickups to starting working together, that's awesome and I'm jealous! I love it when that happens--especially against a set group.
And yes, it's Arathi Basin weekend--starting tonight at midnight.

Yeah, Leri - the key is the swappage. I had a great time, but I'm a little wrecked today. I suspect last night was my last "sefish" 10-boss clear (I'd always go if I were needed). From here on out, I'll give my early spots to the newbie Priests, and swap in for Domo/Rag with my hawt new 155 Fire Resist (gettin' there, gettin' there).

Telva - that's all well and good to do Lucy & Mags, but I'd also like to see Domo and Ragnatard too - that's why we've all worked so hard to get FR gear and whatnot. Furthermore, Eira wants to play in MC too - and it looks like that's not gonna happen either, unless I find her a group to play with at a reasonable hour.
It's frustrating to me, but I suppose it's what's best for the guild - and to be honest, I'm just one of many. I'd really like to be able to raid from 6pm until 11 on a weeknight, or sometime on the weekends, but that seems not to be an option.

My only suggestion is, "pick yer battles." Trust me, I wish I could raid twice as much as I do. I only made the "first kill" on Razorgore, and have had to settle for second kills on nearly every other boss because sometimes 7:00 p.m. is too early for me.
Once Eira is "core-ready," I'd be happy to split runs with her in general. She can have the first 8 bosses (or whatever we kill up until 11:00 p.m.) and I'll take the backend. That should keep you busy in the core for a long time.
Once you have enough Fire Resist to take on the Rag fight, just pick yer battles and stay up late one time to get your Eye of Divinity. If you can raid until 11:00 p.m., you are pretty much able to do anything *but* Rag. That's pretty good, IMO.

My comp at home has crashed, I'm hoping to get it fixed by tonight for ZG. I'm at school right now, being a TA rules, an hour of computer access with no supervision. Grats on the kills, sorry I couldn't be there

Wow Thibz must be either drunk or being sleepy git, all these removed comments, deleted posts...makes me wonder what I am missing by actually doing work.
Yes Hatchet, the last 2 games I played last night, I entered midway through, and still ended up near the top of the Alliance kill charts. I think the worst game I played was the first one against SFU when the game started 10 v 15 in your favor and it was just ugly.
But ya the battle for the mine was great, and that heal I got was so totally unexpected. I was actually trying to turn and run because I had less than 1K health and I knew the sexecute was coming, then I didn't die and I was WTF and noticed someone helped me out. This was also the battle that I knew, just knew you noticed me in game because it seemed like everyone FF on me. First it was Foreman coming up the hill, after he was ganked (with help), it was Iggi at the flag, then Foreman, then Hatchet, then Foreman, then the mage, then.... All the while other Alliance were just running around seemingly untouched.
And no the only time I talk in raid chat is in WSG up against you, because you always attack the same way and 99% Iggi comes down from above. Do they listen? Nope. But in AB, I just goto my flag gank it, and follow my group, because if I get stuck alone I am a dead man.

I'm sad that I didn't get to play w/ SFU--I started the evening w/ them, but Azazle is struggling to fill up his group (we only had 10, the rest were pickups), so I was torn. Hopefully, we both only have one week left of the honor grind.
And I swear I didn't tell everyone to focus fire on Telva--I was trying to take you on by myself. Maybe they were using an /assist macro, or maybe they were using the Vickywow™ method and tabbing through until spying a target w/ low health. ;)

Not sure what it was, maybe it was a tank wearing mostly Might triggering the thought, Prot Spec'd he probably hits like a girl. All I know is that you people were homing in on me. At least it kept the action going which is all I can ask for.
Btw, I resulted to eating chocolate today in order to give me energy to finish the day. I am hoping to hyper caffienate myself between now and about 245, so when I make it home by 4 I am ready to crash for a long while.

Wait...you played with Azazle's team?
I played w/ Azazle's team instead of SFU's last night because he (Azazle is a he, the toon is a she) was struggling all night to put a full team together. The SFU group had people wanting in, so, I chose to help out Azazle and free up a spot in the guild group.

Doh, I just figured it was Wednesday so you were playing with SFU. Aren't Iggi and Foreman in SFU too?

my ass, you knew you would have a better chance of farming honor with Azazle :p

There's some truth in that--I won 10 games in the time it took SFU to win 8 (we probably could've won more had we not wasted so much time trying to get people to play with us). I know that Az and Co. can win fast, but I've also made a commitment to playing with them--I couldn't have earned my rank without their help, so I didn't want to leave them in the lurch.
Foreman and Iggi are in Apotheosis Now. There are alot of SFUers that play with Azazle's team (Blood Covenant). Me, Gbaga, Malaise, Yerd, Ctrain, Manawar and Dendybar, to name a few. So, on nights that SFU PvPs (for fun), Azazle struggles to have a team together.
Both teams went undefeated, by the way. :P
And starting next week, we'll be PvPing on Tuesdays and doing Onyxia on Wednesday. Do you raid BWL on Tuesday? If it's a free night, consider joining the AB queue in hopes of some hot, guild on guild action, wouldya??
We're also trying to stir up interest to go to Alterac Valley on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings , so, that's where I'll be from now on (starting next weekend) if you ever want to hit me with a sword or maybe cast a spell on me and stuff.
