So I know I'm not one of the "official" forum trollers, but I noticed there haven't been any dailies this weekend, so I thought I'd give it a go.
Saturday was uberfun. I went on a couple runs - DM North was a bust, but it gave me a slap in the face and a kick in the arse, and sent me back to the feralnoobin' ways I'd fallen in love with. UBRS was an awesome run, we totally wiped that place clean, and on top of that, enough blood dropped for all those present who needed it, and I was able to complete my Ony attune. Thanks to Nief, Lard, Zeph, and everyone else present!
Saturday night was MC core farmin'. Despite dying a couple more times than I should've on a farming run, I had a blast. When MVB asked me to tank a Firelord, I damn near passed out from excitement. And surprisingly enough, my escapades didn't get anyone killed - and after I started on the second one with a bit of difficulty holding aggro, Waibanez pointed out that my Salvation buff was still up, and somehow, I'd STILL managed to tank that Firelord. Our warriors did awesome...there were few of them and little room for error, and they rocked my world by making no grave errors at all. (I can't say the same about myself x.x)
Sunday was a day of me trying to get my Libram of Constitution complete, and constantly being dragged away from it...first by a DM east run, then by a Strat farming (grats on your new wand, Nief!). Somehow, though, I still managed to complete it before BWL invites started.
BWL was probably the best performance I've seen in my time with the heroes yet. After our failed attempt at Broodlord last time in BWL, we OWNED that bish hard in one flawless attempt, and Lardgibs finally received the Broodlord's head that will greatly benefit our entire guild.
Last week's Firemaw attempts saw us struggle to get him to 50% before wiping...this week, in an amazing bound of improvement, we breezed him down to 50% before losing too many healers and tanks to go any further. But the heroes weren't the least bit discouraged...they rezzed up, rebuffed, and beat Firemaw in our second try of the night. It was a success all contributed to greatly, and one that makes me VERY proud to be a hero. I'd like to thank Thyratron again for his insightful suggestion for me to go all-out FR. With 180 FR and 6500 mana, I was able to resist almost everything, heal up a storm, and bandage other healers in my downtime. Caderly and holyban took advantage of an ingenious strategy using PWh to reach the tanks/rogues through the wall, and barely took a scratch.
We didn't have enough time to clear the trash to Ebonroc and make an attempt at him, but I'm confident that tomorrow night, there'll be a heroes/Ebonroc smackdown. And if we perform anything like we did last night, we might even see our first Ebonroc kill.
My first Onyxia was everything I'd ever dreamed and more. I was ecstatic to face the big bad dragon for my first time, and Gadi's tanking was amazing. I saw only a couple stray whelps my entire time in the cave, and despite three deep breaths, the heroes brought Ony down with minimal casualties - and I lived the ENTIRE battle! Looks like Gadi's hax are starting to affect others too ;)
And to top off the night, I lost on the Stormrage helm! I'm telling you, I don't envy Moosecrow one bit...though next week, I could be the one enduring the mockery of others :-/
Keep up the awesome work, heroes, and see you in BWL tomorrow!
