I have no idea what Australia Day is, but that is what today is. Well at least my calendar says it is anyway. Maybe one of our Aussie guildmates will explain it to us.

OMG WE ROXORED RAZOR LAST NIGHT! I couldn't believe how smooth that kill went. One second I was tanking adds in my corner, the next second Kord was calling for help to protect Razor. I was like wow that was fast, and wtf I am still alive! Staying alive till Razor is a rare feat for me, but this isn't the point of the post. Then Gadi and Mike did a helluva job getting Razor undercontrol and into the corner. It was just a damn fine kill.

Btw, I should have asked for the healing report after that fight. I know I had to have made it on it. Rather than shoot arrows, I became like a World War 2 medic; running around bandaging anyone and everyone that I could. Well I didn't bandaid Mike or Gadi, maybe I will give that a shot next time.

Vael was a different story because he didn't want to cooperate right away. He kept wanting to BA the healers right away which made life a little hectic. However, one thing was for certain, the tanks have the whole transition tactic down. All but one transition went great, and that one bad transition was caused by me dying 2 secs after getting BA. Vael finally went down though, of course I wasn't alive to see it.

The clear to the broodlord was an absolute blast this time. Mike really has the pulls down so it goes fast and furious. Sunday's clears seemed to take a long time, however last night just flew by. Unfortunately, the broodlord really didn't cooperate and we didn't get to kill him. Our one shot at him failed when all the tanks seemed to want to step in front of his MS in succession, not like we have a choice. Hopefully after MC on Friday we will get another shot or two in at him. It would be nice to be able to devote all of Sunday to Firemaw and Ebonroc.

Hatchet, we have to stop meeting in PuGs. It just isn't fair. Last night, my "group" if you want to call it that really was bad. No invites (and since I had the possibility of leaving for BWL I wasn't going to do it) until about half way through the match. Then the group leader quits soon there after, when he told people to go to the farm, so we did, and then he questioned why we went to the farm. Wonderful wonderful stuff, but oh well.

I think one day we are just going to have to tell our teams to stop joining in in our fights. We had the perfect opportunity to go 1v1, but people kept jumping in and helping out on both sides. Oh well, always good to see a friendly face I get to take swings at.

On a side note, I think Blizzard screwed up when they basically made taunt unusable in PvP. Taunt should be able to at least distract opponents to where they can only attack you. I mean that is basically what it does in PvE.

Herb is expensive. I really should find a way to pick up herbalism so I can help the guild effort. One of my alts has it but I don't play that toon anymore, but I guess I am going to have to. Buying mats for pots sucks because I just don't have the cash flow I once had. So on that note I have a couple of questions....

Elixir of Fortitude requires wild steelbloom and goldthorn, a) where can I pick these up (STV I assume)? b) what level of Herb picking do I need for each?

Wintermaw Firewater (I hope that is the right name, green pot) what are mats?

Elixir of Giants, iirc Zeph told me gromsblood and sungrass, I know I will not be able to pick up these mats because I will never get my toon to level up that high in the forseeable future. So Thibz we might have to strike up a deal for the mats since I know you can't make it....yet.

a) the best area to farm for these are Arathi highlands and The Hinterlands
b)WS is about 170, Goldthorn about 185 basically if your alt can survive the low to mid fourties of the Hinterlands you can also get lots of sungrass too But the only places I've seen Gromblood at low level is in Felwood.

Wintermaw Firewater to my knowledge is a drop specifically to the Ice Thistle in Winterspring, SE of Everlook

I was wondering what happened at Broodlord last night. All of the sudden 3 dead tanks and Broodlord comes to me to kiss me goodnight. Until you said that you guys got smack with the consectcutive MS I thought the cause of him getting out of control was our nuking of him.

The path to Broodlord was paved with great precision thanks to MVB and I didn't die once on the path when compared to the 11 times last sunday:)

The Broodlord can only be nuked in the "1337" fashion that we did it on our first kill if the tanks remain alive for a significant time period. With each tank death, you lose a great deal of the aggro they have collectively in the "aggro race" that the nuke strat is. We'll squish him on Sunday, unless something miraculous happens and we have time on Friday, but that is unlikely. Due to Broodlord requiring the tanks to all flask up, it's not a productive expenditure of materials to rush it and only get in a try or two. Last night we all flasked, so that was kind of a waste.

Ahh, Firewater will be farmed then. Good to know that because with the info Gren just gave me, I won't be able to do much herbing until my Rogue hits 40 because my mage will never make it. Once I get a mount, I will switch from skinning to herbing and mining. I guess Friday will be level the rogue day unless I can't find someone willing to take my place in MC (assuming I am rostered).

Btw, at one point someone did steal aggro, but from what I heard, the person who stole aggro died soon there after and couldn't run back to us. Either way, decent attempt and he will go down again sooner rather than later.

It would be cool if taunt worked in PvP--at least if it made your target switch their target to you, if only for a second. Rogues can still distract--why can't we taunt? /sigh

But yeah, as always, was fun seeing HotC in the hizzouse. If you guys ever joined as a group--Telva, Nief, Lard, Mike, Evelynn, Waib, Stormclaw, Elf, Zeph, etc, I'm sure we'd have an epic battle on our hands.

Nief what is Dense Stone used for? Currently I use all my stone to make Sharpening Stones and Weight stones for tanks/rogues and then the thorium + stone for arrows for Thibz, Zeph, and I. It is hard to keep up with enough stone for these projects yet alone pass them to the bank :(

I would give you my shards, but Belhop took them all for his lifestealing enchants.

However, I will see what I can do about sending extra stone to the bank if it is needed for other things.

Well actually Telva the Dense stones are used for exactly what you are using them for.

I would like to ask you the the favor of taking over this end of the consumables full time. I will send you all the dense stone I have, and what comes to me in the future. I also have a small stash of RC if you need that.

In turn I will need you to keep the tanks/rogues supplied with these 2 items during raids.

This time it might be for real. When I was farming Thorium, PvP was good because you would hit all the RTVs and then PvP would come up and I could do it and by the time I came back, the RTVs would be back up. Now that I am farming Thorium and Cash and Raid, I am not sure when I will fit it in. I can honestly say I won't be PvPing tonight, nor tomorrow most likely.
