So this is the end of the work week for me! Yay, but undoubtedly I will be at work tomorrow morning, oh well.
Last night was fun as always. I love the Raz fight, nothing like controlled mass chaos. However, I gotta find a way to live through phase 1. I only saw phase 2 twice. The first time MVB and Gadi died right away, so I pulled aggro and died soon there after because all the healers were dead. The second time, I tried to bandage Lard, the dog hit my hand, so the bandage was wasted, moved up to shoot an arrow, got conflag'd, and died seconds later. All the other times I was dead watching Raz's health go down. I didn't even see the end of the actual kill because I had to release. Grats to everyone who won last night!
Vael is getting better. Even with massive tank transition mess, we are getting him into low double digits everytime. I think on the last time he was down into single digits which is much much better than Sunday's attempts. Either tomorrow or Sunday this guy is going down!
On a good note, I had zero lag on Vael last night. I still get lag when MVB is messing with the raid groups especially if I am looking at them at the same time. I am thinking the new CT still has problems because Stormclaw has the same problem. I tried 2Bit's advice of totally wiping it which helped a little. Either way I am just happy that my screen didn't freeze after the first sunder.
I think MVB has it out for trying to stop us from going to Gnomer/DM. Tuesday it was core farming. Tonight might be an impromptu Luci/Mags downing. (Question, if we are really short on Core Leather, wouldn't it better to just try Vael again tonight, and leave MC for tomorrow since the Dogs despawned totally last Friday after we killed Luci/Mags on Thursday? ) Anyway, I am not complaining, the side runs will happen eventually (how about next Monday or sometime Saturday?).
Once again Hatchet and company beat us down like the biatches that alliance PuGs are. I am glad to hear that Ali and co. put up a good fight with them. I did learn one thing, though defense is important, in crappy PuGs from now on, I am going to stick to offense. I got most of my HK/KBs while attacking the flag base. Now if only when someone picked up the flag, the PuG teams would try and protect the flag carrier. I grabbed it yesterday with a Pally in the room. I run out with the Pally behind me, and I am like good, the Pally will run with me and heal me! Oh no! I get outside, down the hill, turn around, Pally gone. I am like WTF! How am I supposed to make it back to base with zero support? At least a hunter was laying freeze traps behind me.
Oh, I got my new keyboard yesterday and it is sweet. Lots of buttons, which I need to learn how to bind, but the best thing is the backlighting. Now I don't have to turn on the lights to see the keyboard anymore.

I need for the thorium to start coming in. I got enough thorium and stone for your arrows, now I need to find some to sell so I can get some repair cash. I am almost regretting buying my mount because I feel like I am living in WoW paycheck to paycheck. Even though I joke about needing cash for my repair bill , I refuse to accept money from folks. I guess I will have to hit SM for some good greens to sell.

Glad to hear your lag problem is fix:)
We did get Vael down 9% on the third try and I'm sure We will get him down in the very near future if we can get our tanks transitions down and keep them alive until BA kills them:)
As far as Luci/Mag Thurs, I love it since it shortens what would be a long endurance night of MC if we kepted it to 10 Bosses. That and it allow folks who don't have a whole lot of MC experience some practice on the easier Bosses:)
So I will see you guys tonight in the Core

I am not saying it is a bad idea, but I am just bringing up an odd occurance from last week. I will say that it isn't going to shorten Friday at all because the time we save by skipping two bosses is going to be used on Vael.
I also agree with ya, in that these shorter runs allow the n00bs to get experience. I am more than willing to give up my roster spot (assuming I get one) to one of the lesser geared people a chance at the bosses. Actually I would be willing to pretty much give up spot for all of MC except for Rag and of course Vael. My reasons for Rags is pure greed, I really really want the wrath pants. I don't have the might pants yet, but I don't even really want them. I wouldn't be able to wear them until I got a ZG enchant anyway so I would rather one of the lesser geared guys got them.
Vael though, Vael is a different story. I want to see him dead. I honestly don't remember what he drops (I think a nice PvP helm) and I don't care. His death will make me happy in the pants, and I would love to do this tomorrow so we could venture further into BWL on Sunday.
FYI to the tanks, I have my sights set on 2 pieces of gear, the wrath legs and spineshatter. I am hording MVPs until one of them drops, so I will be passing on everything else (though the wrath helm is tasty assuming you don't look at it) until I get these. The only thing that worries me is the SS since I am not sure how MVB will handle it if/when it drops.

Spineshatter may likely end up being a loot assignment, but not to me. Sexy as it is, Quel is just fine for me as long as other tanks need upgrades.
SpineSHATTER.
We got 20 leather on Tuesday farming hounds. That was fun, easy, and painless. That's more leather than we get in a full clear where we don't despawn them (19 in that case, IIRC). So, it was fine by me, and it's fine to get luci/mags outta the way tonight. Take a couple new guys or guests again.

Oops, I really thought I saw Spinesplitter on thot, but I will trust you. I figured it would be loot assigned, I just wanted confirmation before hand so I didn't save up points only to find out I couldn't roll.
Fair enough on the core hound thing, I enjoyed that farming and hope we can do it again. Like I said before it is much more enjoyable than core farming.

Ya I hate the chain sheeping thing. Your mages do that alot, actually I think they are the only ones who sheep me. I don't mind being disarmed because my 44 inch pythons pack a mean punch, but nothing like being stuck helpless while everyone gets ganked and then 8 meanies pile on ya when everyone else is dead.

My fists only pack a 245 level punch. Maybe I should run around the Monastery slapping the monks instead of hatcheting their faces.
Crowd control is just as important in PvP as it is in PvE. Like I said, running around, trying to take people on, 1v1 is dumb (but fun). Teamwork > Heroes.
But yeah, trying to tell that to a PuG is futile.

Can druids really be declawed? I've never tried. If the druid is in cat or travel form, why bother? Hamstring's the thing.

It makes no difference to our damage whatsoever. We don't even lose the stat bonuses from whatever weapon we currently have equipped.
So, a bit of friendly advice to a rival...don't waste your time. :P
PS: I believe we can shift out of hamstring, too.

Haha--okay, noted.
I really don't waste my time/rage switching to defensive stance and disarming--unless someone w/ a HUGE epic weapon is beating on one of my healers (Bryhnn, Aranderius, Goehnitz or something from VE, come to mind). It makes me ROFL.
And about the rival thing, once I'm done w/ the honor grind, I'm gonna go back to PvPing strictly for fun. Do any of yous wanna run around the Gulch with Poindexter? The 10-19 bracket is a hoot! And we can be on the same team and stuff!
I promise to heal you and bless you if you have the flag!

The first rank 14 on our server "Tehlea", got himself a assanki a couple of weeks ago. Being in a pve based guild he went for a cruasder. Then he happened to come up against our guild run. Oh how we laughed. Every time he went against us the warriors/rogues were lining up to disarm him :)
Infact we had a mini competion to see who could disarm him the most. Que much riddule on IRC :)
Next night he had a weapon chain, but the memory still brings a tear to my eye and chuckle.

That's what sunder armor and demoralizing shout are for.
I have a lot of hp, attack power and armor, myself. Equipping a shield gives me even more. (More armor and hp, that is--AP decreases significantly).
But yeah, me w/ a 1h weapon vs. dire bear = long fight.
