So it is Tuesday, day of maintenance. The good thing? This board should be somewhat more active today becuase of said maintenance and the fact people return to work/school so they can't be playing. The bad thing? This board will be more active making it hard for me to actually be productive at work and I really need to be more productive. Not that I am not trying to be productive, I just ran into a SNAFU that doesn't want to work itself out.

So we are hopefully doing Gnomer tonight. I hate Gnomer, not because it is hard, but because I get lost in the place. I can get to the room with the cleaners in it no problem, but after that I get lost and confused. I guess the thing I can't get over, when I was lvling my main, I remember Gnomer being bugged with the silent alarm crap and basically you couldn't get past a certain spot without wiping. So you had to turn around and go in the back door. Is this a bug or was this the intention of Blizz?

Anyway I can't wait to get out of Gnomer because that means I get to go to SM! SM is my second favorite instance behind the Deadmines. The other good thing is lots of guildies farm SM so it shouldn't be hard to piggyback on a couple of those to get my gear up.

I love my rogue btw, I don't play her much but I still love her. It is so nice to be able to go against things 2-3 levels higher than you and totally destroy them. I was never able to do that with my tank, of course I didn't know how to play the game way back then, and my spec was probably all over the place.

My mom got mad at me yesterday. See a few months ago, my cable modem kept dying (its prolly 5 years old) well it was at least losing the signal all the time. So in order to ensure that it was the modem and not the signal coming into the house, I swapped modems with my parents. Everything worked fine for me and for them for a while. Now since Christmas, the old modem has been losing its signal all the time. So my mom wrote me a nasty gram requesting her modem back. So I guess after work today I get to run to the store and buy a new one, but at least that will make me go by Kroger where they have prime rib onsale! I know what I am having for dinner tonight!

When I went to the Core yesterday my video was also studder stepping from throium point until I got inside of BRM. So I bet alot people share your pain on that one. IF I didn't get a 15 min BoK I would be pissed at Blizzard but I think that they'll eventually get it fixed.

Scarlet Monastery is by far my Favorite instance with a lvling character. I have 34 Holy Priest, Medalert, that I play with every now and then and I think I like SM the Best because it has lots of scripts to watch and listen to. That and its broken down to 3 pieces and so you can take a break every now and then.

As Grenwich, for fun playing, I love going through Deadmines. To be able to simply slaughter everything and everyone in an instance that used to give me so much trouble is awesome.

For challenge play I'm really falling in love with BWL and the thought that we are gonna Kill 7 Dragons is Awesome:jig:. (Razorgore, Vael, Firemaw, Ebonroc, Flamegor, Chromaggus, Nefarian) Killing badass Dragons is something I always wanted to do since I've read "The Hobbit" and it only intensified when I first saw Dragonslayer.
So that all for my favorite instance:)

Ya I think BWL is gonna be the shizzle assuming this raid problem goes away. What really gets me is that everytime MVB adds someone to the raid, or changes someone's group I lag which tells me its CTRaid/CTMod. So I am taking 2Bit's advice and removing all my mods and reinstalling them. Hopefully I can PvP once this evening before Gnomer to test it out.

Ya I said PvP, I probably didn't rank this past weekend due to bad groups and not enough play time. I guess I really need to make sure Waib is around on Saturday to make sure we both rank this week.

Also Waib while I am thinking about it, how about we go kill everything in DM:N on Thursday to help find you a libram and maybe get luck on a Foror's? I am not particularly looking for Foror's as much as Waib's libram of Prot. However I must say, Gadi and I are looking left out because 3 of the other most active tanks have QS and we don't. Maybe its best that way, since Gadi and I can prove we can live without it.

Thibz pots are fine. I should have enough GFPP to last a few weeks now. I guess what I am looking for these days (if you can make them and they aren't too pricey) are brute force and giant strength (not sure if that is the name, the one that makes me big). I felt inadequete on Sunday standing in between Bel and MVB when they were a good foot and a half taller than Fel let alone me.

I didn't play WoW at all last night--I'm so burned out. Y'all better queue up as much as possible in the next two weeks if you want a piece of Hatchetface--after that I'm taking a long vacation from Arathi Basin.

(I might go to Alterac Valley every now and again for the rep rewards and I'm almost exalted w/ the Warsong Gulch faction, so, after next holiday in there, I'll retire from that battleground, as well).

Well, I do hope that for maintenance today, Blizztard gets its collective kodopoop together and fixes our lag issues. Yesterday afternoon, Freyja, Aidain and Zephonia were kind enough to help Blackravyn & Eirastrild (Asa's alt and my alt) take our first tour through BRD. We busted our butts trying to get all the quests so we could rip through them.

And then it happened. Disconnection, lag, uber-high latency, and the inevitable 20 minute wait for connection to the server.

It's getting really ridiculous. And i hope that Blizz does something about it. Like character transfers (there's a lot of Dalaranites who'd like to be on PvP servers), upgrading hardware, putting a moratorium on new accounts joining Dalaran, and putting the levels back to pre-queue days.

It looked like the Gnomer roster was full, but if someone doesn't show, let me know and I'll go with you. Believe it or not, I've never been all the way through. Went in a bit once Aidain hit 60, but never did the quests in there. I do have a lvl 29 priest that I'd like to run through there at some point.

By far, the funniest moment I ever had in PvP was when some warrior disarmed me in cat form.

Nothing like imagining someone stop to yank my claws out o_0

Occasionally, I'll switch to Berserker and Whirlwind/Cleave--if my Bloodrage is still on cooldown. Otherwise, I don't really need to "stance dance" during a pull unless I pull too many or if sweeping strikes has faded--they're usually all dead by the time my rage bar gets down to 15.

Also, I'm lazy. ;)

Maybe I'll pull a Leeroy next time I'm in there have a stance dance party.

And yes, I can throw dukes w/ the punks in the Armory, but being disarmed is an annoyance when you're on a tight PvP schedule. Hordies don't have the luxury of having an hour between matches to get their overalls on and start farming. :P

But yes, hitting sweeping strikes, cleaving, switching to berserker and hitting whirlwind is awesome--when I can pull it off in enough time and with enough rage to get big, yellow numbers before SS fades.

Haha! No way, Jose. I have better things to do w/ my time than farm lowbie zones for daisies.

Things like, farming lowbie instances for useless equipment to complete a useless armor set, farming lowbie instances for useless BOE items to sell for kiz-ash on the AH and farming lowbie instances for items that summon level 30 guardians to use in Battlegrounds when I'm rooted just out of melee range/just inside ranged range and need to knock someone off the flag.

I spent all evening yesterday trying to duplicate the renamed hyperlink trick that produced the first [Chuck Norris' Coldridge Dagger of the Roundhouse Kick] that Shadrin managed to work out. Finally got a hack working well enough that I could rename my equipped weapon: [Zoe's Freaking Uber Stoneflower Staff of Garr Resistance].

Tonight I'll see if I can get it to work with any arbitrary item. Bear in mind that until last night, the most complicated macro I ever wrote did only this:
