This is just a guide how to get Barman Shanker as a rogue :D (solo offcorse):
1. Turn left when entering instance and unlock door.
2. Go thru door and there will be another door to your right to unlock. (Watch out for roaming fire guard.)
3. Go thru that door and there will be a door on your left to unlock. Straight ahead is the shadowforge lock.
4. At this point look for the roaming fire guard coming down the stairs and pin him with distract by the bottom of the stairs.
5. Stealth up to the shadowforge lock and click on it from directly behind it.
6. Restealth as soon as you can as the fire guard will path to you.
7. Walk up stairs one level and turn left. There is another roaming fire guard here you have to avoid by using distract or by letting him walk by s you are pinned to the wall.
8. Continue forward onto the covered bridge opened by the shadowforge lock. After the bridge is another roaming fire guard. I usually just follow behind him.
9. You will make two lefts following the fire guard down the passage.
10. Turn right as the passage opens into a larger room and there will be a set of stairs going down to the RIGHT (left stairs go to general)
11. The next area is a bit like frogger. There are gnomes running back and forth in front of you. Avoid them and turn right at the end of the big room, before you get to the next big room.
12. Go straight and you will see 2 pairs of fire guards on a bridge. Walk through them into the bar.
13. Go upstairs and to the back of the bar.
14. Buy 10 beers from plugger (you only need 4 if you do it right)
14. Stand in the doorway of the dwarf quest giver and face right towards plugger.
15. Throw a beer at your feet along the back wall of the bar (same mechanism as distract).
16. Wait for bar patron to come over and get stunned by beer. DO NOT attack early.
17. Repeat 4 times and kill all the patrons in the bar.
18. Go stand in the back corner of the bar and drink your shadow and fire protection potions.
19. Wait till heal potion resets and attack. Mind numbing poison helps.
20. Loot your green crap item and stealth out for the next attempt.
Barman Shanker FAQ
1. Yes you need the shadowforge key, it is impossible to get there without it.
2. Yes you (at least I) need at the very least regular shadow protection potions, but greater makes it easy as [Homemade Cherry Pie]. And yes they are expensive, but if you just use the lesser ones this way you make the money back per potion each time you kill plugger. (Green items)
3. You shouldn't see any dog's on the way to plugger.
4. Reset the instance by inviting somebody before you leave, kicking them out once you're outside the instance, and then rezoning into the instance. Don't use the same person frequently, I cycle between 3 people. 5. If you are a dagger Rogue be sure to bring a high damage sword for the main hand as he is immune to kick and any form of stuns. Just spam Sinister Strike and Eviscerate.
6. 6. Almost forgot, USE MIND NUMBING POISON it helps so much!
