Holy crap it is early! Well it is the same time I usually make this post, but man the late night in MC is killing me this week. < 4 hours sleep makes Telva an unhappy man. Because of this, probably no desire for ZG tonight with Shad. I might take a nap when I get home though so we will see...
My first real point today is to say thank you. First I want to say thank you to MVB for the loot assignment of the DI Ring last night, it made me really happy in the pants when I got it. I am thankful because that ring is one of those items, I never envisioned myself ever receiving. From the first PuG I ran with HotC when one of the rules was "if the DI Ring drops it will be assigned to the MT/OT, everything else will be rolled on", I was like that is one sexy ring, I hope to have it one day, but never thought I would get it. I mean it is a rare drop (IIRC it has only dropped 3 times for HotC in what 4 months of raiding) and tank order means something when getting the assignment. Granted I got really lucky last night that Belhop wasn't in the raid, but it just made me feel really good getting that ring; Not necessarily because the ring is awesome, but because MVB thinks highly enough of me to give it to me.
I would also like to say thank you to everyone else. Why? Besides all of your hard work you put into the game, you also have great understanding and patience. Last night, 3 items dropped (the DI Ring, the Disk, and the Flamewalker Legs) that were basically loot assigned (I know the pants were rolled upon, but it wasn't like it was a raid wide or points based roll). However, no one complained about it, and everyone was gracious after the assignment. This is why I love this guild so much, everyone understands the end goal and what it takes to get there.
And I just remembered what this guild did for Ceraph, not only taking him as a guest last night when more than enough Pallies signed up; but allowing him the chance to win (and winning) his hawt epix loot last night......mucho mucho love for you all.
Btw, Mike, when the pauldrons do drop, I am not rolling on them. I just like giving you a hard time about it in tank chat. You getting is much more important in the grand scheme of things, and you have probably earned it.
Anyway enough for now. I either need to either fall asleep at my desk or go get some work done.
