It's raid night tonight, can't wait, unless of course I am not rostered, then I will kick myself in the ass for not rostering (I think I did, but last weekend is sort of a blur). Then again I could be kicked because of a rollover then I won't hate myself too much.

Anyway, the new patch is out, and thankfully, I can now make my home someplace other than IF. Hopefully the IF lag will end once people realize that IF is no longer the center of the universe with the linked AHs and the LFG channels. Being a n00b, I really hope they have PvP queueing points in all the major cities.

I am not sure if I like the initial events that are going to open AQ. All it is doing is increasing the number of farmers and artificially driving up the prices. I guess that is good for the people who don't want to turn in mats for rep because their gold coffer's should really expand. Cammy told me last night a stack of silk was going for 5g! That is insanely nuts, since any 60 worth his salt can go farm SM till it hurts and prolly make 100g in a couple of hours. Then again, I don't know if anyone actually bought the silk at that price.....

Oh yea, I saw Wolf Creek last night. I don't know if it was a good movie, but it freaked me out. Terror/horror movies that are based on true events really get to me because you realize that really crazy people do exist even if the events have been highly sensationalized to make a buck. I would say it makes me scared to go to Australia, but I realize that every country has its fair share of psychos.

Ok, enough topics for now, please give me yours.

A good horror movie is a hard thing to find these days. Glad you liked it.

Yeap, it's raid night baby! Time to bust out the potions and stuff.

Gathering the mats for AQ is silly, The Horde is hurting bad. On our side some items are being ignored. For example, we need to turn in 200k Purple Lotus, as of last night it hadn't reached 1k turn in. On the Horde side things are much worse.

Stack of Thorium 11 Gold.

Woot I am going to be rich....of course if you need Thorium for your shells let me know, I won't sell it all...

Something tells me the Horde are going to struggle for a while. Aren't their population numbers lower than the Alliances...at least on Dalaran?

Alliance / horde ratio 3:1

So, I'm hungry, bored and sleepy.

No one is trolling the Boards and MVB is suffering from a late night at work.

Time to farm for a bit during lunch.

You should not be trolling, you should be posting!

Please come up with a topic, I am all out for now.

For instance, how do you like your new build?

Yeah, none of the palies have posted anything about their new talents and stuff.

Hrrmmm, there's definately alot of new stuff to play with and with the inflated prices im getting the money for the known respecs im going to go through

right now http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/paladins2/talents.html?0550012250100005025100000000050005151 0000000

I was a wrecking crew through the undead with Holyban as my back up last night but I may switch into something more healing oriented...like I used to be

I'll give this a test in some instances though :)

but overall I'm really liking it

My guess is that the Horde on Dalaran will not meet its turn ins needed to open the gate, or will take so long that it will be close to the the auto-opening anyway [in 3 months]. I was in Orgrimarr last night in their AQ turn in area and it was a ghost town.

So, for the Alliance, I think the AQ turn ins provide 2 unique opportunities:
1. Faction rep for a different mount from much more than cloth turn ins.
2. Huge money making opportunity from selling the turn in mats to folks wanting to buy them for #1.

Well, since I haven't been on since last night, what are the Alliance standings at now? Here is my dilema, I want either an epic Ram or an Epic cat. I prefer the cat because I think the normal Ram's look 10x better than the Epic ones, but would be willing to accept either. I am about half way to revered in IF and a quarter in Darnassus. If I start this runecloth collection (the cheapest way), I don't want to put in alot of work only to find out that the Alliance has already finished the runecloth turn in.

Ok my next question, IIRC and that is almost not the case, Pallies now have better tanking abilities (stop reading now if this isn't the case). How is HotC going to take advantage of these abilities, or are they going to go waste in the raid instances?

Yes we now have a buff (used to be Seal of Righteousness (Sp)) that lasts for 30 minutes instead of the 30 seconds meaning in the Zath fight I don't have to waste mana by rejudging my Seal on it every 30 seconds. (The buff is if you do holy damage you increase your threat) I'd like to try it out more efficiently in DM over the weekend, I'll also be on tomorrow and I have friday off if anyone else want's to play around with their pally skills

When you turn crap in can you choose rep for every different item, or just for some?

Obviously I am like everyone else...I want to find the easiest thing to farm that gets me the most rep.

FYI IMO Firebloom and Purple Lotus should be held back for the new Oils....we will be using these on rag and phasing out the Flasks.

Purple Lotus farm is open.

you can choose which rep to get.

Yes there are officers of every race sitting in the Military Ward. I chose to rep with Darnassus last night, but I questioned my decision soon after because I have farther to go and if the less expensive turn-ins fill up, it is a long trek to Darnassus to keep turning in cloth. Oh well, I guess I just need to go on some runecloth farming runs and deal with it. I only need like 375 stacks of RC to get to Exalted.....anyone wanna help a brother out?
