Thank the lord I dont work this week. Now I can sit in chat rather than wait around for someone to post on an interesting subject.
The Christmas holidays are a mixed blessing. Holidays are always good in and of themselves, but for soem reason Christmas is always stressful and something always goes wrong. My crappy thing happened yesterday, and I am still having to try and explain the unexplainable (see yesterday's topic).
However, the holidays mean I don't have to work for a long while so I can get things accomplished at the house for once. For instance I am replacing baseboards with my dad this week, and at some point I get to scrub mildew off of the side of the house.
The best part of the season is that I can spend money and not feel bad about it. I bought a new SB: X-Fi soundcard yesterday. I doubt it is the best one I could buy, but man is it better than the old one I had. I actually turned all the sounds back on because they are now actually worth hearing. Today I will probably buy new speakers and a new keyboard (the new logitech gaming keyboard looks sweet and feels sweet). Not sure what kind of speakers I am goign to get so if anyone has any recommendations, here is the space to put em.
