Marb, I tank perfectly well with my total PvP build :)

One build can do everything great. The other does one thing a little better, and the other thing absolutely terribly :P

My spec does one thing killing things (and sometimes getting me a lot of agro too as unwanted side effect). Thats what i want it for!

I think any group will choose a prot specced warr over a normal warr as tank, if theire lvl and equipment are (almost) the same. So with prot spec its easier to find groups. And for the main tank in MC/BWL/ZG its very handy to have prot spec, for u might only survive 1 more hit, but in 1 hit 5 heals is enough to make u survive the rest.

Toot, look at the prot tree again.

Very few of the talents have anything to do with staying alive. The only really useful talents are Last Stand, and Defiance, which I'm going to get.

People really don't mind your spec on this server anyway... When I ask for the druid's spec PURELY TO SEE IF THE SHAMAN SHOULD BACK-UP HEAL FOR THE BOSSES, I get yelled at. :P

And, toot, if you're that worried about aggro don't spam your skills. Remember, it's not PvP, they're not gonna turn around and one-shot you if you don't keep the DPS up. They're far more likely to do so if you DO keep the DPS up :P

O ok i was just guessing anyway, never played a warrior before :P.

But groups take me for my DPS, so i backstab when possible and when it crits 3 times and evis also crits and tank cant keep agro good enough i have to suffer the consequences.... Though 90% of the time its good to crit a lot and i can always use vanish to remove all agro if needed (en preperation and a second vanish if things turn really bad :P)

People don't want massive spikes in DPS. We want constant, controllable damage. If you crit too much, revert to autoattacking with feint for a moment. It's not a case of not being able to keep aggro good enough, it's a case of the rogue going way over the limit of feasible aggro retention.

Ah well, at least you attack the main target :P

yeah ive heard that before. But im some also tell me to do FULL dps against certain bosses to prevent lots of adds spawn (for example baron in start). And attacking the main target aint hard if there is only 1 :P. And sometimes its handy to do a lot of stuns on a mob that tries to kill a healer. So the healer can continue healing and i keep the dam of him/her till a tank arrives and takes over

If you've got a decent tank and group, nobody should be hitting the healer ^_^

Most bosses call in adds at certain HP%, not time... Not sure about Baron though, never seen Strat Scarlet :P

And nothing wrong with a good stunlock... So long as you don't do it at the start of the fight :P I've had a few groups where the rogue blamed me for dying after he stunlocked the mob right at the start, thus crippling my rage input :)

Meh, no doubts that you're a good rogue anyway. Still looking forward to grouping with you :)

Ahh k. I use ambush most the time in instances when fighting normal mobs for it has nice damage and on bosses stun never works. And by the time i have some combo points to get kidney up for a decent time (not 2-3 sec, but more like 5 or 6) the mob is allready on low health and then evis is a better choice.

O and i u wanna do an instance i still need some drops in DM
