View Full Version : Alosha- 60 Lock:)

Well, 1st, the boring stuff :)
Im a 60 Warlock, full dreadmist, attuned to everything buy Ony (Jailbreak has been unkind to me, though I have helped a few get their attunement )
300 Enchanting/Tailoring, can make mooncloth set/crusader enchant and all that jazz, working like mad on faction gain to get more sweet recipes :)
299 1st aid (its a running joke right now that I will never get to 300)
Im above 40hrs total /played on this server, but it's tuesday and the realm is down, so that's an educated guess.
My alts (the noteable ones at least) are all horde ( i know, i know, i lose points there:P)- I could not continue with them past high 40-50s, but Alosha, my Warlock, I cant get enough of.
I am currently mainly desto spec'd, but am more than willing to re-spec on the advice of more seasoned players than I.
I have done MC perhaps a dozen times total, and have FR gear moderatly above 100, nothing too impressive alas. ZG I have done numerous times, and have 'led' 'successful' runs in there. Led in the loosest sense, really I just get people together, get them organized, give a pep speech, and send them on their merry ways. Successful in that the guild I am currently in(Red Star) is fairly small, at least in the high-end aspect. Doing Batgirl/Snake is the norm for us, proceeding further is one of those things in the future- baby steps ftw, as we all learned in Elementery school.
Currently have active Ct/Ctraid and Necrosis, and have TS, though with my mic I sound like a slightly feminine Core hound being slaughtered.

Now to the slightly less mundane I should hope. I am from Canada, but living in China currently teaching. Aha, added bonus right there, I can decipher what those crazy farmers are saying:). Since I am a 20 something female, however, my sleep schedual means I am on WoW from the moment I get off work til the wee hours of the morn, conveniently, peak server time.
As for what type of player I am, I like to think that I am quite determined, but only if the group is enjoying itself. I am utterly fine with taking directions ('Sommon me now plz' being the most common) and advice. I have to say I am the 'one more try!' type of player, and so like to think I help to keep even the most lackluster groups encouraged.I do comment on my actual opinion and am used to giving directions also, as I rather be disliked by one person in a group than have everyone fail because of it, and I mean, repair costs suck:P.
Fieryshadow gave me the nudge (well, more of a /slap :)) to apply, which has been hard. I love my current guild, am an officer in it, but have been running through the same instances with no real gain for quite some time. The experiences etc have all been great, but there comes a time when it becomes apperant you need to settle in to a guild that allows for room to grow. Though it will sound like needless sucking up, all the experiences ive had with HoTC players have been positive. Just yesterday one during a Trib run allowed me to get the staff Ive been drooling over for ages, as it was a beauty of an upgrade. Experiences like that prompted me to apply in a hurry. Im not applying for a chance at new gear, (though wont object if some Fel/Nem drops :P) but more for the experience of a high-end guild that is fun, not 'elitest', and..well, if it were not some horrendously late hour, im sure I could think of something more clever :)
As it is, I think ive covered all the basics. feel free to contact me anytime. Can usually be found lying dead in Silithis as i have not learned to not go AFK in the middle of the camps:)

As if it were not long enough- edited to include that I have my epic mount quest complete as well as the Doomguard quest (and you can ask Fiery about how dreadful a task that was:P)

Learntoparagraph.

That being said, long apps with lots of info are always a plus. I encourage you to contact Jonra and Niefankazz, our Warlock officers, and to contact Lardgibs and myself (Mikevbrandt ingame), the co-guildleaders.

Best wishes in your app process, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Banyan-I do know your brother- very nice, always fun to whine to about the Lock quests etc

My apologies again for the length/blatent lack of paragraphs.:( My internet decided to crash, but I had copied/pasted my app to a friend. Being late, just decided to paste it back as quickly as possible and submit. Thanks for the response, and i'll get in contact in game as soon as possible.

Do you need Felheart Gloves/Bracers/Belt/Warlock Epic Mount? lol

(the felheart drops a lot, and we sometimes do the mount quest just to get drops from the drealord boss)

Rgr, gotcha, jonra as in the uber version of genre. Assuming jona is a lvl 16 druid whale aficionado.

VECTUS TIME!

Anyway, I've heard only good things about this wonderful warlock lady from Fiery. I haven't had a chance to play with her in person, but I would love the chance.

Baron run anyone?

hehe I thought so, he has said fine things about you <3

I have also quested with you myself (on my Pally alt Saroy)

Alosha is a great player and comes across as very nice and down to earth person imo, another great addition to the HotC I reckon:agree:

Has my full support,

Alosha seems pretty cool, we talked in between Duke pwning today. Speaking of silithus, I had a similar experience with a fellow guildy having to heal me while I got beat on by mobs while I was AFK in silithus..heh. I haven't quested with Alosha yet, but I look forward to getting the chance to. Having yet another person to do the soulstoning and summoning (so I don't have to do it) is a plus!! I'll put you on my friends list, so I can see if you're on during VECTUS TIME. RAR

Jona "the whale"

P.S. what does Xia Hoa mean? (may have spelled it wrong)

Thanks all for the votes of confidence of whatever you want to call em, its really appreciated :).
I look forward to doing runs in the future with you all- promise to make a decently memorable impression that doesnt include running in, melee Locking (which is what I save the coveted Twill set for), then AoE fearing the place, hopefully :P.
As for xia hao- that means "Hello four" roughly... Ni hao, however, is pretty much "Sup":)

Alosha went on a fun 5 man of Scholo the other night. Despite several hiccups (the usual 5 man type, too many mobs pulled..heh), she kept her cool. Also, she wields a mean succubus...that was our means of CC in there...I have alot of respect for that since I can't depend on my succubus skills whatsoever. I look forward to seeing her on an MC run in the near future.

Jona "Ni hao?" :o)

I have had the pleasure to go on a couple of UBRS runs with Alosha, one of which she was the leader. Alosha kept everything organized and running very smoothly, this is always a big plus in any PuG.
I feel Alosha would be a great member in HoTC, because she is very personable and willing to help in any way.

Just an addition- my FR is sitting slightly more decent at 132, and I finally am keyed for Onyxia.
Now just to get over the facial twitches and stuttering that happens to me everytime someone says the words "Jailbreak" or "BRD"...

ahhh BRD is alright, I still do many things in there, Solo Incendius...solo DI ore turnin's, Solo Coffer runs (if i figure out how to bloody do that w/out dying)! But yea Jailbreak and all that jazz is a pain

Thanks all- and its great to be part of HotC
Was nervous about MC today, especially when my latency spiked just over 10000 for the 1st time in months, but, managed to not leap off into lava
