Greetings, HotC. I am a Level 54 NE Hunter searching for an active guild with a good community that also commonly takes part in high-level raid dungeons, group battlegrounds, etc. Though I am only level 54, I have been grinding the Highbournes in Winterspring (which drop nice Runecloth I must say) and getting some nice exp. (25k/hr unrested) Today alone I have gotten alittle over 3/4 my level. Soon I will be able to contribute to the end-game dungeons and such.
For my entire World of Warcraft life so far, I have been in a single guild: Pelors Might. Ever since I was in the low level 1-10 zone I have been a member in this guild, but recently our higher level and more active members have left the guild to an assortment of different guilds; and now the guild leader is resigning and looking for a new leader. Being in such an inactive guild has encouraged me to find a new, more active guild that suites my level.
I have no experience in the high level dungeons such as Scholo, Strat, all parts of BRM, BLW, MC... you get the idea. But this is not to say I am inexperienced with instances, I have done a multitude of ZF and Maraudon runs in the past few levels. I am also fairly experienced in Battlegrounds for my level, I have just over 6000 honorable kills, not counting level 19 and 29 alts that I play just for bgs.
My equipment is fair ATM, I keep all uncommons upto date every 2 or 3 levels and rares, (depending on bonuses) I sometimes keep for 7-10 levels. Weapons are currently Thrash Blade and Crystal Sword of the Tiger (recently dropped Phantom Blade due to lower dps). Bow of choice is Hurricane. Yes, the bow that eats about 11 meals of arrows a day. But when grinding and in instances I use a slower uncommon bow that is also upto my level, Hurricane is only used on bosses and in battlegrounds.
I have alot of experience with Teamspeak, but sadly none with Ventrillo. (I am willing to use it thought, if needed.... learning wont hurt)
As for Professions, I stopped using bandages around level 42, seeing as you require 300 in first-aid for dungeons (which is quite understandable) I will be bring that up within the next couple of days. This should not be a difficult task, I am fairly wealthy at the moment with 170g. I took up Tailoring and Enchanting as my 2 professions, Enchanting is at 266 right now and tailoring is at 284. I really wanted enchanting at a lower level, and tailoring was the next best choice since it does not require a gathering profession and I can disenchant the items I create for mats.
As for my personal life, I am 17 years of age, currently a senior in high-school and not doing any extracurricular activities at the time, but I am running track during the Spring which does not take much time at all away from WoW since practice is only an hour long after school. In the following year I will be attending Morehead, this is already a done deal since I have a full-ride there.
Thats about it, I contacted Elfguard on how to apply to this guild and he directed me here... just to give you guys a reference.
