most psychopaths need to have degrees in psychology to be able to stand out the the regualr bums yyou get in the street. Although engineers dont need degrees because they can learn things on site.... so your regular psychopath would be more intelligent than an engineer (unless the guy was a quantum-engineer (then they are both pschopaths anyway))

Besides, people who can only consume despite making a few dollars an hour end up spending all of their money rather than be able to save some of it. So it all goes right back into the economy, which further down the road can be used to hire some of the bajillions of chinese engineers, and bring them over to the US (chinese engineers are like 56% of all graduates, compared to like 6% in US).
