I thought the idea of a Kill On Sight/Gank On Sight was a good idea.
So here it is, the first post here to be updated by me and krag when neccessary.

I also got one: Chica, Nelf Druid

He shot a couple of moonfires at me while I'm fighting mobs. Then he rooted me and ran away.
He did this 5+ times without killing me, but I almost got killed by the mobs twice:tantrum:
The worst thing is that I only got to kill him once:( (damn druid travel form)

He was only trying to get me killed by mobs so I would have to repair my stuff :(

Sulphate, the whole guild.

Reason? The single biggest money drain on the server, Rhinocerus, is among them. He singlehandedly halts Tyr's Hand farming daily by not understanding the peace there. So, we'll make his guild suffer until they remove him.

A KOS list does not function well within WoW.

PvP tags are only temporary, unless you are within a BG, and the whole point is to kill anyway.

Plus on full PvP servers, the penalty for dying is not big in WoW anyway, so people kill anyone of the opposite race the find.

It works in other MMOs like UO, AC, and EvE because there is open PvP wherever you go. You might not always just attack the first hostile player you see, especially when you have to consider their clan/corporation. But you will for sure kill a KOS person (and people who are KOS usually have some intel following them, equipment, skills, class, ship, etc).

Quietus, we ARE on a PvP server. Except in the starter areas, everyone's pvp-tagged. We have a KOS/GOS list because not all of us enjoy being ganked and hence we need each other to kill gankers. It's about punishing those who act like assholes.

caught a ganking party in Tyr's hand, took what screens i could before they/me died, so some info is missing, but they were all 60's.

I got three more. Blenz had a party with some horde for some quest in stormgarde (arathi highlands). They ran in an allies party, but they had a 60 hunter. I was around so they asked me for help, but they got 2 other 60 hunters and kept camping us. They never did any quests (i checked while in stealth), just corpse camped us.

was questing with a friend in Hillsbrad when these two alliance ganked us repeatedly, i managed to get a screen the second time they attacked.
the paladin was definately 60, not sure about the gnome, i recon he was in the forty's as he had the whirlwind axe.

O and u can get Jessejames of the list ganked him while he was trying to farm some satyr in azshara. I think that is enough for a the end of the stormgarde keep camp it was more like a war between horde and allies then a corpse camp (keep the others on it they still deserve to get ganked once :P)

nah hes my m8 but he always beats me wen we have friendly brawls :D so gank him on sight... btw word of warning he's pretty hard :nyah: and often found owning AB in his gay ass guild "APEX" lame asses :( always win AB cos their healers heal...

I've got a possible addition. Filywater, a 60 NE Rogue.

An Alliance warrior and I were helping each other farm in Tyr's Hand, especially dealing with duos of Scarlets, since neither of us could take on two elites of that level without much trouble (well, he was epicced out and probably could, but all the same he emoted a request to help him out with several duos and even waited for me to tag one of them so we'd each get a kill).

At one point we were each fighting separate mobs, and I was at around half health, when Filywater (who had been farming in the area for a while but I assume didn't attack me because before I'd had other Horde near me) decides to be a knob and attack me while the mob was still beating the hell out of me (and the mob killed me off. Durability damage FTL), despite the fact that the human and I were clearly helping each other.

filywater. prick rogue who ganked me when i was trying to reach lvl 60 for like 2 hours.

the blade order kept killing me when i was getting my darkmoon ammy when the fair was at the ally place.
