Okay, Latly everyone says " I'm going to buy a pair of pants " I don't think this statment is corrent unless there buying two pairs of pants that are the same. Does anyone think the same
Should pants be Called by a Pair if there singular?

pants really refer to underwear but have, as of late, begun to mean trousers, which is the technically correct term for an outer garment covering each leg seperately from waist to toe...
and, btw, "I'm going to get some pants"
even though that's not technically correct, either.

Dude, you used it there. Unless you mean four pants, but thats just weird. Because it implies that you would buy two sets of pants, each set containing two identical pants.
Who the hell buys pants that are the same?

I have about 5 pairs of jeans that I grabbed off the same rack at Wally World, then another 4 pairs of tan Khakis. And yes, I ussually wear my Khakis when we go to a fancy restaurant. Like I give a shit what people think of what I'm wearing.

you violate your own singular vs plural argument in that statement otherwise.

Alright, I stand corrected. I was also VERY drunk when I originally posted this. Actuly I did't remember posting it. Then I was arguing about it again with one of my friends and I remembered.
I posted something on TLSC about that. Why the fuck did I do that. Then I learn that no their not pants, their TROUSERS and pants are underwear. Like what the hell is up with that.
You see how badly our cultures are seperated. Like you kids and your Football(Soccer). Like what the hell.
I think we need to break down some barriers.
I also think I should stop Ranting like this.

Pants = Boxers or briefs(male by the way, not y-fronts) , that keep the balls warm with...
Trousers = Material used to keep ur balls, thighs, knees, and shins warm, or at least, hope they do when it's freezing cold...
