Application - Human Priest

Hi

First of all my Priest - Bess, Human, 32 Discipline (inc Divine Spirit), 19 Holy. 300 alchemy and 300 herbalism. 300 First Aid. She is attuned for MC, BWL and Onyxia.

More importantly though, who am I?

I live in Perth, Western Australia, I'm 33 years old and work full time in an environmental analysis laboratory. I am very good friends with another of your recent applicants - Kemistree. We have been playing online games together for a few years now, started with EVE online and continued into WoW.

I enjoy the social interaction of this game, grouping with people to accomplish a goal - whether that be a quest or 5 manning an instance or going with 10 or 15 other people to raid a dungeon. The teamwork and helping others are what give me the most satisfaction. Seeing someone getting for example their Lightforge breatsplate after raiding UBRS 20 times or whatever it might be, is special.

I enjoy playing my priest, we are a support class. I'm not one for glory or even for loot, though it is a nice bonus. I prefer to help others do that, to keep them alive so that they can achieve their goals. I enjoy the challenge of playing a priest, its very rewarding.

The guild I'm in, Misfits, is very small. We have approximately 10 active players, of which 5 of us regularly group up and try to do an instance like scholo or strat or Dire Maul. This is not always possible though. So I would like to join a bigger guild, one that is organized, that has alot more opportunities than Misfits can provide.

Edit: I have 2 alts, a 60 rogue Pathan and a 39 hunter Lythium. Lyth is my 30-39 battleground twink :)

As an alchemist I can make Greater Fire Protection potions, mongoose and greater stoneshield amongst others. I haven't yet completed the quests in scholo to get the major mana recipe.

Pathan is a miner and (dis)enchanter. He's my cash cow :) Lyth is a leatherworker heading into Dragonscale LW.

Another excellent choice for the HotC, i have also teamed up with Bess (With saroy again) and have found Bess to be one of the best Healers i have grouped with outside of the HotC....and so god damn friendly :nyah:

I have run many an instance with bess as the main healer and we always kick arse :)

Bess comes with my full recommendation for membership of the HotC

Though I haven't run many instances with Bess, I believe Bess ran MC with me back when I was in RS. From what I remember, Bess was a damn good healer and we even tried to get Bess to come back on future runs. So I defintely would recommend this application be given serious thought.

Let me add, yes I did goto MC with Rohan Sohei (apologies for spelling if I got it wrong). It was a Saturday morning, one of the very few Saturdays that I was online. We got up to Luci, and had a few wipes. I was amazed at the level of organisation. Each pull was carefully described, our positioning was carefully placed and this was for the 2 big giants right at the beginning. I had never seen anything like it. 40 people working together! What caught my eye was how close to a wipe, nearly every pull was. I don't mean this as a critiscm for RS, I just get the feeling that if only 1 or a couple of people do something wrong, like get agro off the MT or something else, then 40 people die. The mobs in MC hit hard and have alot of hit points.

Weekends are a hard time for me to play (especially afternoon/evening US time) as thats when I look after my 6yr old son. He is obviously my priority. So my gametime in the main is reduced to early morning US time.

hey bess! sorrie im late, been away >_< but anyway i'd like to say bess rocks =) hes an awesome healer and i've known him for quite sometime, i always think of bess ,kemistree and jazlyn as "the three" they're almost always together and are up for anything

they're really fun to be around with and theres never a dull moment with them

i tink bess would be a great addition and asset to our guild

Hey, just noticed Bess' application, and I'm ashamed to say I hadn't seen him earlier!

Similarly to fieryshadow, I've played with Bess a number of time before now, and similarly to how I feel about Kemistree and Jazlyn, I don't think there's many more deserving applicants than these three. On the multiple end-game instances I've been through with him, I've found him to be most pleasant, competent, and generally useful and talented players I've partied up with.

Definitely two huge thumbs up, and I hope to see him online again soon... with HoTC on his tag!

I have had the pleasure to raid with Bess several times and they have always done an excellent job.I would recommend Bess's application for HOTC. The more quality priest the better.
