Hi! I raided with you guys on Wednesday night, and now I'm offically applying.

This is an application for Kelior, level 60 human warlock, to join Heroes of the Command. I am applying to HotC (and only HotC) because I want to be part of a large, end game guild. I chose to apply to HotC specifically because (IMO) HotC has the best reputation among these guilds, in terms of character especially. Also, I have a vague memory of MVB and TLSC from several years ago when I played Homeworld. I have read the required reading for the guild, including the MC guide.

Currently I am a member of The Protectorate, and although most of the people in the guild are fun people, a number of misfortunes have occurred to the guild, including many people leaving and the GM quitting WoW. Also, the guild accepts anyone who applies, so there are a few “lvl 60s run me thru SM now plz or this guild sux0rz” types that annoy me. I will gladly help guildmates, but I want to be in a guild that can and will help me in return.

My build is heavy in destruction, 7/10/34. I recently respecced to this build and I am happy with it. It gives me great DPS and utility in PvE, as well as great damage and decent survivability in PvP. I have both improved imp and improved healthstone maxed for PvE. I consider myself primarily a PvE player, but I enjoy PvP as well. I feel that I could be much better in PvP, and I am working toward that goal.

For my professions, I am an enchanter/tailor. My tailoring is at 300, and I have a few rare patterns, such as the Cloak of Warding (+5 def) and the Cloak of Fire (and the Grodok Ogre Suit, my personal favorite). My enchanting is currently at 250, as I only started this after I got level 60. I also have 300 in First Aid and make use of heavy runecloth bandages during instances and battlegrounds when no healer is available.

I have most of the superior quality 10 or 15 man raid instance gear on Kelior, including full Dreadmist. I have the warlock trinket from Dire Maul, but I am still doing tribute runs to get my Rod of the Ogre Magi. I have a few good FR items, such as the Wildfire Cape (and now the Felheart Belt thanks to you guys), which can give Kelior 72 unbuffed FR. I do not have my epic mount, but I am on the final step of the quest.

I have download and installed teamspeak and ventrillo and I have used ventrillo many times. I also have a number of mods, including the latest version of CT Raid. I am attuned to MC, BWL, and Onyxia, and I have done all the steps of the Duke Hydraxis Molten Core quest up to the final step of looting the four hands of the MC bosses.

Thank you for considering my application, and thanks again for taking me along on Wednesday night.

Serious applications are taken seriously, I'd like to hear from a warlock on that run as well but I am in support of this application. Lets go get that dreadsteed done.

I am very impressed w/ the quality of this application, and am in support. If you can convince Jonra and/or Niefankazz (two officer warlocks) to send you a /ginvite, it's well deserved.

This is indeed a very wel written AP, and it seems you put a lot of thought and research into it.

Kelior did very well on his first trip to MC with us, and proceeded to repeat the good performance in a quick UBERS run last night.

He took direction well, and fit in with the other Locks right away.

I will speak with Jonra as soon as I see him in game and one of us will contact you to send you a /ginvite.

PS Have you bought the 3 items from the Goblin to complete the last part of the mount quest? If you have oh well, use them to help Locks in the future. If you have not bought them DONT save your 250g and we will use mine.

Lets try to get a group together this weekend to get your Dreadpony.

Congrats Kelior, and welcome to HotC. App closed. If you do not hear from us, please contact Niefankazz, Lardgibs, Mikevbrandt or Jonra in game for your guild invitation.

I have not bought the 3 items for the final step of my epic mount quest yet, so I would certainly appreciate it if Nief used his. This weekend would be great.

Oh, and thanks for accepting me into the guild. :)
