I have recently run into luck and have come uo with a rare drop. Yes the Twilight cultist ring of lordship. Funny thins is im not revered and this dropped. its suppost to be a quest reward. Well anywayz i have it and wanted to ask Mike and the gang what we should do now that we can summon an abyssal boss. Let me know mike cuz i hear ur creaming over the shield that drops.

Heh, nice use of illustration. :o) Mike has a new shield...maybe they should make it so tanks can carry two shields at once, instead of a weapon :o)

The ring has a chance to drop from the rare spawn Twlight Lord Everun.

He spawns randomly at the twlight camps on the west side of the map.
He can also spawn at the sides of the Hive north of the town there.

I have a strong interest in the Earthen Guard, which drops off Baron Kazum. Obviously other tanks could put this to good use as well.

Additionally, the Silithus Lords now award 1 MVP each (tier 2 point ... named fer me this time :confused:), so there's added value for going there, as these points are used on ony/rag/etc.

To force the Stone Lord [who drops the shield] to be summoned, we need to create a Scepter of Beckoning:Stone, and that comes from this:

I have received several beckoning scrolls [but never that one] from the Hermit in the cave on the Eastern edge of the zone when turning in texts, but it is random what he sends you. Better if all guildies keep an eye out at the AH for one, it could be available quite cheaply since it seems like the kind of thing likely to be mispriced.

In fact, folks should keep an eye out for *any* of the scrolls that create Scepters of Beckoning on sale cheap and buy them. We may wish to specifically summon other Lords besides the stone one.

I for one am all for killing these guys. sounds like a lot of fun and the fact that the shield intrigues me as well only adds to things :)

Ralex are u sure we need the sceptor of beckoning, cuz it just seems u need the clothes, the ring and the station thingy to summon a big boss? Is it used to summon specific bosses?
Oh yeah who gets the quest reward, the one who has the gear right?

The beckoning items (there are the scrolls for dukes, and the scepters (created from different scrolls) for barons) allow you to force a certain elemental to be summoned from the wind stone. Hence Ralex's statement To force the Stone Lord [who drops the shield] to be summoned,. It just gives you another option when you try to activate the stone that makes it pretty clear that you'll be summoning the guy you've got the item for.
