Actually justice carrying out sig figures you are supposed to carry out two more then necessary to ensure proper results. As for the concept of 3 places that is shot by using 3/2 assuming that 3/2 is not counted as a perfect number expressable upto 3.000000... or else the signifigant figures for the answer would be reduced to whole numbers equivalent to how many signifigant figures the least accurate term is expressed as.

Further more if you notice that I placed the word assumption into my post followed by an expression :D Continuing on the signifigant figures also depend upon division as you divided by a term with a greater signifigant figure which would adjust the total signifigant figures as only lowest percision is immediatly carried over in addition.Then multiplied by a constant term of 3/2 then multiplied using the multiplication rules fo rdecimal places by a term with three places. Your professor is looking for 3 places as that is the least accurate and upto your accuracy however it would be more accurate to give an answer of 5 places and then a statement listing 3.

Steochiometric coefficents are absolutes, not infinite sigfig justice :p Which should properly be written as X mol A / Y mol B. Thus they do not have absolute decimals. Which means that the value you used to divide for was the molecular weight of the compound which would be Aluminum, and the 79.9 is incorrect as all molecular weights which I'm guessing this is Bromine has a mass of 79.90 :p

Adding into this the compound you are quite possibly making is Al2Br3 :p which has a molecular weight the sum of the total compounents 293.66 g/mol. Unless you're using something like lb/mol which would require the conversion factor however the ammount of g-mol and lb-mol are equivelent.

They vary greatly from personality to interests the common thread which binds most of them is how they like being treated and the little things. As for how 'normal' neb is or isnt, the fact that she plays comptuer games, posts on an electronic bulitten board kinda scews your concept of how normal neb is or isnt justice :P She isnt exactly normal in the entirety of the spectrum when you consider the relative few females that make the transition to electronic posting.

i mean, i prolly am, too--but at least i dont stick to that pathetic stereotype. Neb is waay out of the ordinary for a girl--and believe me, i know quite a few (many girls vent their frustrations with their bf's on me for some reason, so i try and explain the male point of view while concurrently trying to understand the female position. if that doesnt help me later on in life [particularly in mariage] i dont know wtf will)

so, my challenge to you, my asian friend, is to find a girl and learn everything about her--why she does things, why theyre silly sometimes, emotional at others, etc etc. I think you'll find that it would take more than a lifetime to understand, but the process and rewards are astronomical. just talking with neb (even over the internet, albeit) has significantly changed the way i see things in life, not to mention has made our relationship all the more authentically intimate.

and the greatest thing is that i havent lost any of myself--im just as much of a man, if not more, than i was a year ago
