Hello, everyone! Pardon the length of this post – but if I’m to apply and hopefully join your family, I feel it’s important to be honest and thorough so you all know what you’re getting into.

My main character’s name is Leridyn. Some of you know me from the Dalaran Forums, some of you here have actually grouped with me. I’m from the Baltimore, Maryland USA area. I'm a professional, mature, thoughtful, generous and loyal woman in her late-30’s. I get along well with others and am a giving and kind groupmate. I am well known for my generosity both in time and in materials/finances/crafted items/drops. I am active on forums and in guild discussions. I'm also in possession of a more than adequate sense of humor. I play WoW usually Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the evening and on the weekends.

I guess this is the place for me to name drop. Winsome, where the heck are you? Cammy? Mike? John Boy? C’mon…tell everyone how fabulous I am! <laugh>

Guild history: I was a member of Phoenix Royal Guard for the past 7 months. Forgive me for not explaining why I left the guild, as I don’t think it’s appropriate to discuss it publicly. Suffice it to say that there are some wonderful people in PRG and I am grateful for the experience I received there.

Over the past few weeks, I have been seeking a good group of people who are mature, professional and dedicated not just to a single goal (such as MC runs) but to the general benefit of the group as a whole. A group where internal drama & cliquishness is not embraced, but rather discouraged. Oh yeah, and who have fun…definitely to have fun! After weeks of research, discussion and evaluation, I have concluded that Heroes of the Command best espouses the integrity, mindset and quality of people I wish to be associated with.

I have much to share with any guild I am associated with. I help guildmates with quests and helping them level. I take direction well and follow instructions especially in groups. Although I’m opinionated, I try to do so with tact and consideration towards others. I represent my guild with dignity and do my best to treat all players with respect and kindness. Characters are not just pixels on my screen – they are real people with real feelings and emotions. I am not a ninja, I do not abuse/yell at people, I don’t play the favorites game, and I am straightforward in my dealings with others. I’m a bit of a mama hen type, so I try very hard to find consensus, be a mediator in difficult situations, and to be social especially with new people. I’ve made many friends in my time on WoW.

My main character is a Rogue, and while I know that rogues are often the most plentiful class, I believe the extra benefits mine can bring will make me a more attractive candidate. Furthermore, she looks great in mageweave and is known to dance up a storm with the Horde in Booty Bay! My alt, Eirastrild, is very important to me as well and I look forward to leveling this Priest up to help my guild in endgame instances. She is just beginning to learn to dance and will hopefully get her own set of mageweave soon. Here is a synopsis of my characters.

Leridyn - 60 human rogue – combat/assassination specc’d.

*300 skinning/300 tribal leatherworker/300 cooking/300 fishing/300 first aid/300 lockpicking/315 skinning (Finkle’s Skinner & enchanted gloves)

* Knows almost all leatherworking patterns in game (Tribal Leatherworker), including 2 of the 3 purple Thorium Brotherhood patterns (Corehound Boots & Lava Belt – working on revered status right now), Devilsaur set, Ironfeather set, Swift Flight Bracers, all of the Wicked Leather set, Dawn Treaders and Hide of the Wild (purple cloak). I can provide a detailed listing of the patterns I know, along with the materials needed to make them. Druids & Rogues, your train has arrived! <laugh>

* Comes equipped with several purple items: Bloodfang Helm, Darkmoon Amulet, Nightstalker Boots, Aged Core Leather Gloves, etc.

* I have had my epic mount for months – no need to worry about that. I chose the white one due to my secret desire to be an undercover Pallytard.

* Right now my FR is at 95 unbuffed, 140ish buffed. I must still get the hand of Lucifron to complete the quest and get my FR ring. I’m willing to work on getting that number up. I have extensive experience in Stratholme, Scholomance, UBRS, LBRS, BRD, DM, MC (up to Ragnaros – have been smushed by him several times but never seen him keeled over), ZG and Onyxia. And I still like SM, even at level 60.

* Keyed for Onyxia, Molten Core and BWL, so I’m ready to go.

Eirastrild - 35 Dwarf Priest – shadow specc’d, but will respec to holy/disc when she focuses on group healing – around level 55-57. For now, it’s all about the face melting.

*250ish skinning/210ish herbalism/medium skilled cooking, fishing & first aid.

* Already has some BoE endpieces (Devout, etc.). Working on getting Eye of Shadow in the next few months so I can craft Benediction/Anathema. Winsome promised he’d get it for me. <snort>

I have both Ventrilo and Teamspeak on my computer and can connect to any server as long as I have the configuration info. Whew! I think that about does it. If you guys have any questions, please Private Message me or post here and I’ll do my best to answer.

Thanks for considering me, and I hope to be chatting and playing with you nice folks very soon!

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm sure you have some patterns that I don't - between the 2 of us, we've got this guild covered! And don't you worry...stick with me, kid, and we'll get you some more patterns and whatnot - getting rep with the Thorium Dorkheads isn't horrible, and I'm always willing to help with that! I am a computer engineer, so I believe in redundancy - that means, it's always good to have multiple ways of doing something. The more leatherworkers, the better! I'm a skinning foo', so anyone who uses leather is ok in my book!

/tickle

Didn't you hear? This is a no sulking zone...c'mon and dance with me! <<huggles>>

I remember Leridyn once upon a very long time where we were in Darkmoon. My vague memory of her is that she trolls the forum with the best of them :)

/welcome :)

Leri is the best. When I'm letting my two-year old son drive Winsome around Ironforge, we always try to find Leri to /wave and /dance and show off our non-combat pets.

Welcome, Leri!!!

I knew I recognized your name!

Yes, I and Asarlai were in Darkmoon back in the day when Torwyn ruled the guild. Gertrax (the new guild leader, as you might know) & Seera are still good friends of mine and are wonderful people. Darkmoon has really evolved into a nice group of players.

I do troll forums a bit, but I try to do so nicely and without causing drama. Most often I poke fun at myself. And besides, I have been known to be the entertainment for the guild, eh? Thanks for the welcome! You guys have all been very gracious and kind - it is much appreciated.

I can vouch for Leridyn. I was a guildmate with her prior to joining with Heroes. Good People.

I dont know Leridyn from the game all that much, but her Dalaran forum "trolling" was usually always setting people straight or always congratulating people on things they have done even if the all the other posters around her are flaming away with (well we did it before the 16-debuff limit)

Sadly I can not go to the Dalaran Forums anymore as my new job has me out of my office and into the lab, but I can sneak away to visit these forums every now and then.

Welcome!!

Hey Niefan & Auramoon - Waibanez (a dear friend of mine) told me to say hi and to extend a big ol' hugzorz your way. Thank you everyone for the kind words. It means a lot.

Finnion! Chulainn - the man with the ubercool Celtic names (how's Cu?)! I always admired your intelligence and kindness to others - I'm honored to share a guild with you again.
