I have been told that you might be taking in druids. If this is true I would like to offer my services to HotC.

I am currently 49 (20K from 50 at this posting) and am Feral/restoration spec'd, but upon 55 I'm respecing to Restoration/feral (capital denotes major talent catagory, lower case minor catagory). I've been involved in teh game in various incarnations since startup, with my main characters having been a lvl 60 horde warlock (Soulblyghter, who was accidentally deleted and remade) and a lvl 60 NE hunter (Vanthu, currently unguilded and in semi-retirement).

Having said that I believe a guild should be fair, honest in dealing with it's members, and treat it's members as people instead of numbers. I feel that the game is designed for enjoyment and should be taken seriously only to the extent that the enjoyment isn't lost in the process. In this I've garnered various recommendations from friends and in dealing with some HotC members that this guild meets those requirements.

I am in the process of getting my PhD and I am working on my doctoral thesis so my playtime is important to me. I do let people know when I will be out for extended periods of time as my thesis takes me to various place in teh world (I am a biologist studying sharks, chimeraes, rays, and skates) and my studies involve weeklong periods of time doing tests and getting samples. I always give at least a 2 month notice prior to this (all my leaves are known around 2 months ahead of time so I can prepare work and family for the departures) so this would not cause the guild any problems as I would not be inactive at the last moment for runs to timed instances (such as ZG & MC).

Having said this I can be reached at my email, pumakytt@yahoo.com, or in game on Alluvion or Vanthu.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Take his characters out of the picture, Mike is quite possibly the most unselfish player on the entire server. It's no secret i have 100 alts...and with every alt, if i ever got into a sticky situation and needed help, he never said 'no'. He may ask you to wait a day or two, but "NO" is not in his vocabulary. Every single one of my characters has received help from him and in return i will drop whatever i'm doing to help him because he's just that good of a person. Another great thing is that he always adds quality conversation. He knows the "lore" of Warcraft very well and that has added a great deal of enjoyment to the game, Un goro crater will never be the same now that I konw the storyline.

Ok, as a player...He plays his class extremely well. He does the necessary research. When it was time to respec my druid alt, he was right there to offer suggestions and why/why nots. He was also instrumental to helping a lot of the hunters during the hunter respec. Do not let his level (now 50 nearly 51) be a point of concern. I do not know too many people who have leveled as many characters to 60 and done so efficiently. Get the guild tag on him and let's get him to 60.

I wanted to thank you for considering my application but I'm going to retract it. My reason being I'm a college student (PhD) and I would not be able to participate as many of you do in the major instances, therefore I feel I would not be doing the guild a service by taking up space a more active druid could be taking.

I thank you for your time and wish you all well. Those that I have been dealing with are great and I can see why you are as successful as you are.
