View Full Version : IMPORTANT TLSC MEETING COMING UP

On Saturday, December 18th, TLSC will be having an All LoneStars Meeting, which means you must attend if you are a member of The Command.

The meeting will be held on our in-site IRC chat program, which you can access using EITHER mIRC, OR clicking on the Chat Live Now! link on the left side of the frontpage (http://www.tlsconline.com).

Please make sure you can access the chat NOW, so that you don't come into problems on the day of the meeting, leaving us little time to address them and make sure you can attend.

There WILL be a transcript of the meeting posted, but DO NOT COUNT ON THAT. All members will have at least an opportunity to add their input to our future plans, offer their services, be considered for officers' positions, etc. This is a place to get to know your other LoneStars, and to make contributions to The Command. We don't usually have meetings that we consider Mandatory Attendance for, but this is darned close. Please make every effort to attend.

If you cannot attend, please let your division commander know, or MVB if you do not have a primary division that you are a part of at the moment. Also, please let your DivCom know if you ARE attending, so that we can have an idea for who to expect (so that we don't start without you).

The meeting time is still TBD (to be determined), but we will update the news with times when we have them. Expect the time to be 3PM Eastern US, 8PM GMT, 12PM Western US. This may change, but is the likeliest time (for you to plan by).

What is the actual irc, and server for the chat? As i'd perfer not to use the evil that is chat forum software for all the perdy colours.

Ehm, sorta missed what time the meeting was gonna be, I can chat all you like, but there's a young lady who will be highly dissapointed if I spend this particular night behind the pc :disagree:

I ran the chat this morning at was all perfect but now it seems like it doesn't know what to do :S

Same here. I suspect its my Java runtime Env. I'll just have to reinstall it. Unless someone posts the server and channel.

To anybody having trouble with the Java Chat;

It is very sensitive to the JVM version, make sure to update. However if it has worked for you before, and doesn't, just reboot.

Happens to me all the frippin time.
