Background Information:
I've been playing WoW since the opening weekend it came out, Thanksgiving of last year. And I've been a member of the Spartans since that first week. By no means does that mean I think i'm an expert on Locks or the game itself, but rather I feel it gives me plenty of experience and an understanding of how the game is played, or should be played.

Why I'd like to Join HoTC:
Up until recently I thought I could do the end-game content with Unity/Spartans, however, its become clear to me that that isnt going to happen. I've been a loyal Spartan since the beginning, so this decision does not come easily. However, I feel that I've become somewhat stagnant with Waz...unable to progress any further in the game, if I remained. In fact, last nights MC run with HoTC was the furthest I had ever been. Previously I had only gotten to Mag with the Unity alliance. I'd like the opportunity to join HoTC and reach some of my personal goals and the goals of the guild. I have no problem sacrificing for the better of the guild, believe me, being the only L60 lock in Spartans for the longest time (except for Nief's stay with us a few months), I've done some of the instances a little more than I'd care to do. But when you're needed to banish...you're needed to banish...
I know 3 former Spartans that are now in HoTC: Canariensis, Marcuslycus, and Nief. I group with Cana (or one of his many alts) and Marcus on pretty much a daily basis, so when they decided leave the Spartans and join HoTC a few weeks back, I felt the urge to do it as well. I held back though, thinking that the Unity alliance would get stronger and we'd be able to reach those end-game instances still. I've come to the realization that that isnt going to happen. So with that said, I come to HoTC and offer my services in any way that are needed.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to join the MC raid lastnight, and I hope to join up again in the near future(saturday). I had a great time. You guys were very impressive (and fast). And a special thank you to my fellow locks lastnight for their tips and instructions on the bosses that I hadnt experienced before.

Take care

Just met you wed night in mc, so in that regard i'd like to raid with you outside mc and get to know u better. However from what i saw in mc and today after mc over hotclocks you listen well, catch on quick and easily, and have a real desire to learn, improve, and contribute. So good luck on your application :)

Wazulus is an officer in my former guild. He was instrumental in my progression thru the ranks of WoW. Whenever I need someone to help me thru the sticky spots Waz was always eager to help. He is an excellent lock and a cool dude as well. Without trying to sound like a complete homer, I’m in favor of his app.

I could go on and on why Waz would be a good addition.

How about if I just sum it up:

Send /ginvite tonight. You would be hard pressed to find a better person or Lock on this server.

This applicant gets my "official" gnome seal of approval.

As you'll note 3 of the first 4 posts are from former guildies (dag is Crissta fast)

Waz is a team player that knows how to play this game--both his class (lock) and socially. I have so many examples of what makes him a good candidate but my personal favorite is:

While leveling Cana, it's easy to say that I set a few lofty goals (one which i still carry with me: Dark Iron Reaver). One of the those goals was to be a Master Swordsmith AT Level 51. For those of you unaware of what it takes to be a Master Swordsmith, it requires a 5-man team into strat up to the corruption plans. Mind you this was back in late april/early may...(i.e. Pre-Strat Nerf, NO RAID drop out). Wazulus had just returned from a Military Hiatus. I had only heard about this guy "WAZ". Well, I posted my request on the Spartans board. Every level 60 thought I was absolutely NUTS (which in hindsight i basically was). HOWEVER, we still did it! 5-man Strat, pre-nerf, post-Raid Drop out.

Wazulus didn't know me from Adam. He had never met me, had no clue who I was. All he knew was that I was a guildie and had made a request on the forum. If that's not a testament to his commitment to a guild, I don't know a better one to give.

Some final thoughts, Waz is 300 enchanting and 300 tailoring. He is tenacious when going after the specific rare stuff. At Level 60, he still grinds out faction for the Deadwoods (he's friendly working on honored); He is also honored with the Throrium Brotherhood and has alts he plans using to help get him the ore necessary to get Revered/Exalted.

(Oh yeah, i was one of those guildies that has called upon him for BRD banishes more than any other...hehe)

Waz has my full approval, as well as jon i am sure. he's been impressive in mc, espcially considering this is the furthest he's been and has been learning all the way. he's proven his skill. among the things i mention on my first post. it's been said we're in dire need of locks, well even if we weren't to pass up on waz would be stupid. so in my opinion his invite is already late. so i expect to see him in a hotc tabard very soon:)

Hopefully i'll be saying congrats to u very soon Waz u've earned it.
