Longhorn Axed?

I've heard nasty rumors that longhorn has been abandoned. They say microsoft said it was too complicated to work.

Any confirmation?

Umm didnt it get transformed into Vista and they are still working on it. They just axed some of the better parts of it last I recall.

Longhorn was a codename... duh... the new windows is called WIndows Vista... and vista is beeing worked on, aswell as comming out in 7 versions... 1 version for gamers, thats a version that takes wery little recources
