Greetings HoTC!

MikevBrandt sent me a tell a day or two ago saying you all needed a warlock, and that he also knew that I was looking around for a guild that was concentrating on endgame goals and instances. Hopefully, I have found it.

My previous guilds were Bushido, Cognoscenti, and Might and Magic. I was booted out of Might and Magic for a misunderstanding on my part of their rules. The guild I was previously in, Cognoscenti, was a great guild that I still have alot of friends in, but they aren't really close to doing any of the endgame things that I want to do.

I guess I should give you my character specs, for starters...

Name: Demonos
Race: Human
Class: Warlock
Talent spec: 20/31/0 Affliction/Demonology/Destruction

Instances: Attuned to MC, Keyed for Ony, Attuned for BWL. I have been to Ony once, and MC many times.

Gear: I have my Robe of the Void, Dreadsteed (if you consider that gear) Seal of the Archmagus ring, and all of the Dreadmist set that I need. The rest of my gear is all geared towards '+ Up to x amount of shadow damage'. As you can see I concentrate mainly on shadow damage.

From Cognoscenti, I am used to being in a guild that is about helping the guild and its members progress, and not about individual loots.

Professions: Engineering 300 / Tailoring 300. I plan on later being able to hopefully make some of the Flarecore gear to get higher fire resists for MC. Also, with Engineering, I am working on constructing a Hyper Radiant Flame reflector, that gives fire res and reflects fire spells back at their casters.

In general, I personally feel I have mastered the warlock strategies for instances, such as CC, HS, SS, AoE when needed, etc.

I usually can play from 4 or 5 PM till midnight or a little later on weekdays because of college, and weekends are usually pretty free.

Had a pretty bad experience with Demonos not so long ago while helping my bro, wussyman, lvl up in sunken temple.

Here's the story cut short,

Demonos asked me to buff him kings, I being holy, do not have kings. He then proceeds to tell me that's all pallies are good for, for buffing kings and other than that are pretty much a crap useless class. I obviously am offended at this ignorant comment and proceed to correct him in many ways how he is completely wrong. He apparently didn't like me outsmarting him, so he kept quiet for a bit after being pretty damn annoying, so I knew something was fishy.

When we got to the room just before jammal and eranikus, where you gotta clear all the dragons, while me and wussy were drinking, he and a friend from the same guild (Cognoscenti) went and pulled some dragons while me and wussy were still manaing up. Luckily we survived the incident, and again while we were barely sitting down to drink, they went and aggroed even more dragons, and trained them to me and wussy. As me and wussy were fighting these trained dragons Demonos, was doing /laugh and /dance at me not even trying to help. Obiously we didn't survive this one, luckily I bubbled and hearthed out of there, and saw Demonos and his friend die.

That was just incredibly retarded and immature. Just wasting me and my bro's time.

Obviously, I'm not denying him entering our guild, but I really do hope he doesn't pull any of this bs ever again.

I am sorry for what went on in that ST run, but you did leave out the part of the story where you declared that "all that warlocks are good for is SS, what else do you guys do?" After that, I proceeded to tell you that we were good for many things, such as banishing, summoning, HS, DPS, AoE, and CC.

I'm not blaming this wholly on you, but I am also saying it was not all me either, words were exchanged on both of our parts. The other person from Cognoscenti, ironically, was my brother as well...who had dragged me into going to SM, which sort of had me irritated in the first place, and he told me he was getting bored with the whole thing, and thats how the training came to pass. The part where I wasn't talking was me just ending our more or less petty argument that by that point had turned into a "who's class is better" type of deal.

In any event, I am apologizing for what happened on my part. I usually am not like that, and I guess it happened because the petty argument kept building up, and I got tired of it...plus I really didn't want to be in ST (typo) anyway, was there because of my brother. Heh. :P

But once again, I apologize, and I assure you nothing like this would happen with me on raids.

The "Warlocks are only good for SS" comment from my part was just giving you a taste of your own medicine. I myself have a warlock alt on another server and I can vouch firsthand how awesome a class they are. Doesn't feel good to read such a stupid comment does it?

Not trying to stir up more trouble btw, I see you saying sorry and that you'll never do it again so it's all good for now.

Demonos no-showed for MC after confirming his attendance.

I'll wait for an explanation. If there is no good one, I imagine this application won't be able to go anywhere.

Hey, I am really sorry about not being able to attend...RL situation prevented me from going, and I had to leave my dorm room fast without being able to log onto WoW to leave you an ingame message. Left you a message saying I wouldn't be able to make it on my AIM away message, but I guess you didn't see it. =\

I am also going to have to rescind my application to you all...its nothing at all against you guys, I think HoTC is a great guild, and the members have been extremely friendly and are really talented players from what I have seen. But my old guildmates in Cognoscenti really want me back...and I'll admit I miss being guilded with them. So I am going to try to help them all build Cognoscent up so we can eventually raid MC on our own. :)

I thank you guys for giving me a chance at being guilded with you all, and good luck ingame! Maybe I will group with some of you again. :)
