Alrican

Hello Hotc
This is my first formal application to a guild, i will try my best to introduce myself and hopefully meet your expectation of a paladin and guild mate.
My paladin Alrican, is my first character to explore the world of Azeroth. Ever since Warcraft II, i have been fascinated with the idea of a paladin class, hence Alrican is my first character. I joined Sons of Confederacy since my high 20s, had no desire to leave until recently with the guild's lack of unity and raising greed and selfishness, which has turned me to look for PUG in IF for most of my play time. I had hope to obtain end game contents with SoC, but the guild is far what it once stood for.
I want to reach and experience the next level of wow, and i am commited to do so no matter what the obstacle might have for me in future. I believe the only way to accomplish end game content is to surround myself with people of similar interests and similar commitment.
I believe I can reach the next lvl of wow and obtain end game contents with help of Hotc, and i willing to lend help to anybody in the guild that requires.
here is Alrican's profile
Name: Alrican
Class: Paladin (Retribution specced) (build 17/0/31)
Race: Human
Level: 57
Professions: 300 Mining/225 Engineering
Former Guilds: Sons of Confederacy, The Freedom Fighters
Completed goals: none so far worth of putting up here
Current project: collecting lightforge gears and finish up quests in Un' goro and WP and EP
My perspective of a paladin in group/raid
Paladin is the class with the highest survivability in the whole game, therefore it is the responsiblity of a paladin to keep the group alive. A paladin can accomplish that by healing in pvp group, and dealing dmg at the same time. Paladin doesnt make the best healers compare to priest and druids, but with high AC and HP, we are the priests in plate armor =) In raid situations, we are there to pull aggro off priests and casters, and heal, keeping the main healer alive using BOP, LOH on tanks, Divine intervention the healer to prevent wipes. We are the safety net in a PVE instance raid.
What i can offer:
I am only lvl 57, and are limited to what i can offer at the moment. I have been playing my paladin for a while now and messed with a few different builds, and willing to give any advice or lend help to up coming paladins with quests or questions. I know its tough after lvl 45, the good old "i win" button suddenly stops working lol. I am willing to lend help to any instance runs in the guild.
It might seems like my abilities at the moment limits me to be a leecher in the guild, but i am committed to pay back whatever i owe and contribute to the guild as much as i can in whatever ways possible.
I am willing to fulfil any roll that you give me, if you want me to off-tank, i will offtank. If you want me to do dmg, i will try to do dmg. if you want me to off heal the group, i willl do so. If you want me to heal the druid that's healing the priest, sure i will take whatever roll you give me.
My playstyle:
Overall I am serious player that would like to have fun but also take situation seriously when it needs to be. My play time is usually 4pm to 12am PST on Monday through Thursday, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday is pretty much all day gaming. I will be able to do raids on a regular bases with the proper notice ahead of time and you can expect me to stay for the whole raid. (Early leave is one of my pet peeves.)
I been into a few PUG with Goenitz and Wussyman, and willing to do a UBRS or any trail instances run you might have for me. I would also like to thanks Goenitz for taking the time to help me in the past few days, thank you for your kindness.

I hope i get to talk to some of you tonight
Thank you for your time
