I don't know if anyone felt the momentum going into Mag...the difference between the first core hound pack and the last core hound pack was incredible in regards to efficiency. 3 bosses in the time we set was phenomenal, but I want to see 4 with zero wipes and zero deaths.
I have been to MC with Unity and M&M. Both did quite well on their respective runs, but nothing compared to what we did last night. The fact that 40 people seemed to know where they were going and what they were supposed to do led to a great RAID last night. Keep focused on what got us through those 3 bosses.
As a result of being here, I have changed my opinion of the difficutly of MC. MC is not terribly hard when 40 people are on the same page. Would you all agree that the boss fights are just friggin' awesome? I love seeing the 40 people just unleashing in unison on one poor soul.
Lets catch our breath and look to take down Garr and that punk fire boy Geddon.

RAWR!!! We ZOMG pwnd!
It was good to see everyone come together for this. Gratz to all the loot winners.
The smoothness of the raid was great, a bow to MVB and Lard, and the rest of the supporting cast. Great job all!
Garr and Geddon, we got your number.

Bah, Garr's a n00b, we already got his numba .... but we won't overlook him.
Still, Geddon, your time is coming n00blet.
A note on last night:
Obviously we still need to get better, but I thought we absolutely rocked. The Mag fight was smooth and well-handled, with the battle rez's on Holyban coming (the first time we tried Mag LAST week, Holyban got battlerezed once into a fire spit, and then not at all after, which was why we died at 11% that first try, b4 the second try got him).
Yesterday, Holy didn't stay down for more than a few seconds, so the Fear Ward stayed up, so boom -- Maggie down piece o' cake.
Special props also go to Mikhael. We've had OOC rezzers a couple times, but Mikhael by far exceeded their performances with his own last night. He was stellar. The Gehennas fight was less smooth than I would have wished it, but Mikhael's ability to get a ton of us back into the fight was outstanding, and IMO was critical to us killing him the 2nd time with still no whipes.
Everybody played well, although the first core hound pack's 3 respawns were a little nerve-wracking (we rawked 'em neway tho). We'll keep up with the improvement, but overall, well done HotC.
Of special note was execution of requests; we cleared to Luci without having to deal with a single ancient core hound respawn. Also, Bluey's mistaken rune-misplacement let us know that we should intentionally leave one person behind when we port to IF for the run-back, so that we don't get giant respawns, and so that we get the 5 or so more core hounds to kill for leather.

You mean you quit b/c your guild kept getting roxed, or you quit b/c your guild didn't want shadow priests in mc anymore?

No they got all 'MC pve hardcore' and where 'culling' all the players that pvp'ed durring the week (demoting and thowing hissy fits). So a few off us got a abit put out that we where gettin' slated cause 'we never helped the guild and honour farmed all the time' outside MC. In other words a few members and the leaders wanted us to hold there hands while they ran ubrs/lbrs all the time.
So we quit took like 3/4 of the regular members and have made a relaxed guild, that is mainly pvp but not going to force ppl into doing shit they dont want to. We do stuff like BG, city raid, and out door pvp, with aims to do ZG, 5 mans etc..
The funny thing is all the people that where 'leading' the dkp system ie: putting the effort into turning up and doing MC, where us pvp'ers. Hence looking at mythicals forums they now have only 10 signed up for MC.
We will go to MC at some point i have no doubt (the guild went from 10 when we left to 60 (lvl 60's) yesturady with a very nice class balance i might add :P
Most of us are happy rep grinding and generally putting a stop to the domination of the horde on our server.

I also had a great time, and got some hawt lewt.
I was a little lonely on the Hotclocks channel, but then when the gloves dropped. I was like meh who needs em, and my roll of 21 pwnd all. j/k Locks I really missed you and I can not do Garr alone.
I had one noob moment at the begining. We pulled a firelord and surger/annihilater cant remember which and Mike says banish. Fine np I hit my #1 hotkey and wtf it says I am silenced. I didnt know if you get too close to a Firelord they silence. So then in the raid chat I see this:
BANISH!
BANISH!
BANISH!
BANISH!
So as I am the only Lock I chain banish and not worry about mana...next thing I see in the raid chat is:
cease banish
I was so intent on staring at the little banishment icon below the Mob I didnt notice about 8 rogues and a few tanks trying there hardest to hit through a banishment.
Well better safe than sorry I guess.
Good job all!!
One side note: I mentioned this to Lard, but I read somewhere that durring Geddon Locks should have felhunters out to consume magic. It is spammable every 8 secs. So I was thinking Locks should spam this on the priest in their party that is trying to heal and dispell everybody else at the same time.
