800 mhz athlon (it was good 4 years ago...)

9200 ati (replaced a voodoo 5500... it's not actually faster then the voodoo card... and actually, I prefered my voodoo card... but lots of games just wouldn't run for compatibilty reasons unless I upgraded... fags)
creative sound sound blaster premium something or other...
16 speed cdr/dvd
600 GBs HD (in no way used for pirating... wouldn't dream of it.)

bent, it just treats it like it doenst exist. as if you only had 1 gig...
i wasnt sure if that was what you meant by "discards"
it doesnt boost, nor detrimate performance. just makes your wallet feel a little less effective.

Speaking of internet, I think Holland is a pretty darn good place to live if you appreciate good download speed for a decent price.
I currently pay about €50,- a month and download at about 500kb/s.
Upload speed is also way up there, though it's not nearly as high as my Dl speed.
Have I posted I replaced my (broken) Ati Radeon 9800Pro 256Mb with a GeForce 6800GT 256Mb?...If not, I did now..

OMG U ARE ALL LUCKY SoBs! I am downloading a 2.89MB movie, and my DL rate is only 2.07KB/Sec.
I've been here for 30 minutes downloading it and I am only at 69%...

On an upgrading fest this last week. Just installed a new vid card and memory. Now it looks like this.
Amd 64 3000+ (939)
Asus A8V Deluxe
1GB Kingston PC3200 Low Latency CAS 2.5 Dual Channel Kit
MSI 6600GT
Sound Blaster Audigy
NEC 3520b DVD-RW
Even with my luck in getting a locked 3000+ I managed to get my FSB from 200Mhz to 235Mhz. So instead of running at 1800Mhz its running @ 2115Mhz. 3200+ = 2000MHZ, 3500+ = 2200Mhz. Not bad for a CPU that only costs $165 Canadian! :toast:

Man I'm never going back to ATI. The Nvidia is just so problem free I love it. Ati's are just so picky game by game. They have a little nicer shading but the raw speed of the Nvidia and hassle free cards really float my boat. :jig:

I have an X850XT Platinum in my store for sale by Sapphire. Its $790 Dollars Canadian :-O. With a card like that you need a very fast cpu to get your money's worth. Actually I dont think any card is worth that amount of money. Take a look at what MSI bundles with their cards. With my new 6600GT I got 15
disks! Like I care that I got XIII and Prince of persia. I would much rather pay a lower price and go out to buy a game of my choice with the money I save.
