Basicially its an atlas, with medium res over the whole planet, but certian hotspots or capital cities (a lot of america) have detailed high res maps, so you can zoom in and see people in nyc

Paste in N37 38 03.7 W115 43 11.0, and its a little to the left. :) I can't get it to zoom in very far though on that area though. :(

And are those big green circles just hiding something, or actually part of the terrain/buildings?

Don't think it allows you to zoom in that close, or it'd be espionage.

It's not live, the streaming thing is just to update the area images whenever the satellite passes over. And no, there wouldn't be that much spying going on, since they limit the height you can reach, and resolution. The only thing stopping it from being live is our technology (there aren't enough satellites dedicated to this).
