Heroes of the Command will make its next trip to the Molten Core on Sunday, August 28th. Our goal for the run will be to eliminate Magmadar. If a talented enough group goes and overperforms, we will use what excess time we have via at-that-time decisions.
It is likely we will then return to the core sometime DURING the following week, probably Tues-Thurs, to take advantage of whatever we accomplish (if anything) beyond Luci.
As last time, LGP will begin as soon as Mag dies.
We will begin contacting members in-game as usual, and those who wish to proactively register for the run should post here.
Initial indications are that the invites will begin at 2pm sharp, and first pull will be planned for 3pm.
In the meantime, I will be leading several UBRS runs, hopefully on Tues/Wed/Thurs nights, to assist in gearing people up, prepping people new to my style on how to behave in our raids, etc. I would take advantage of PUG's in IF, guildraids and whatever is available to gear yourself up and prep for the raid. Please also read our new player early-MC guide as well, even if you are familiar with the Core.
Finally, Lardgibs and myself will jointly put up some notes on the Magmadar fight at some point, as we have no intention of leaving empty-handed this time.

Not that it is neccessary or even of any use but i found an item that i thought might help/save a Mag fight. I hope it would not come down to it but to me having a bit of insurance is never a bad thing.
Glimmering Mithril Insignia (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=4593)
Now i dont know what it takes to get it or anything i heard maybe a quest chain in STV but i will look into it more and edit my post here. And MVB/Lard you dont think its neccessary/wanted even just let me know and i will stop my search =P.
hope it helps a little :)

I was reading up on it from some links on Thottbot to Allakhazam, and the trinket does not "break" fears, but instead is a pre-emptive thing, and must be used right before you think fearing might occur. I mean, 30 seconds is a good bit of time, it still might be worth looking into. Besides, you know you want another use for your blacksmithing skills :O)

It means that you are on standby status Yeldarb, since you keep signing up and being unavailable (which is fine, but when I have to go out of guild or put in people who have arms spec and no +def, it's time of 40 peeps who are wasted)
I would really like to have somebody with your skills in there, but after 3 runs to date, haven't seen it yet. How do you answer that?
Specifically, you led MVB to believe that you could do it right up until the very last minute, then thankfully, Shaitan of FS7 was able to sub for you. If somebody was trying to deliberately sabotage the effort and make me look like an organizational n00b I doubt they could have been more effective.
anyway, in the future, our warrior roster is subject to the highest level of scrutiny from now on; can't run without 5 with def gear. I'll take extras over 5 as insurance, but we CANNOT run without 5, and if it is a continual issue then I will let the pallys RR defense gear and they can do it mmkay?

I came on the very first one, on the second one i waited outside MC for a good 3 hours while you guys killed luci, on the second last one i fell asleep at the keyboard and woke up to discover i'd been DC'd and went to bed (later on being told that MVB spammed me with invites) and on the last one, i told MVB i needed sleep and i wasnt going to make it about 2 hours before the raid. So i didn't willingly wait till the last minute and change my mind, i held out as long as i could and just collapsed and went to sleep lol. School holidays will change that, i'll change my sleep pattern so i'm always awake at the same hours as you guys, yarr!!!
uhhhh... edit for my stupidity (had while you guys killed mag, not luci)

Yel, on Friday I explained that I'd take you at 7:45 sub-in time. Falling asleep right before then after spamming me w/ pst's asking if you could get in yet even after my explanation = bad game. As was, I basically didn't hussle to find a 5th b/c I figured hey, yel is ready. Having to pst you about 50 times to AFK ness and then see you log was dishearatening, and faith shaking. However, such things can always be earned back. The recommending ninjas/dicks/etc. as recruits is a different story.
