if you wanna talk about sucking at music you cant talk about our band
here's a series of logical steps (the precise word just slipped my mind)
1) the best bands in the nation come from Texas
2) the best bands in Texas come from this Area E (3 out of 10 finalists out of 42)
3) the best bands in Area E come from Region 23 (4 out of 6 finalists out of 30)
4) the best bands in Region 23 come from Katy and Cy-Fair ISD's.
Mayde Creek High School is in Katy ISD, and made 6th place in pre-lim area, 7th in finals, so we didnt go to state. i hate to brag, but since we worked our asses off, im gonna say it blatantly: we're a freakin awesome band! w00t!

we march 180 instruments
we have a 4 piece tuba section
1 does not play
1 half-way knew his music
i am 2nd chair, and thus i balance around 90 instuments
thats a freakin load of sound
