By the end of this tutorial you should be able to create your own wire-like image.
.Create a new file (I'm using 400x400.)
.Draw a line using the brush (Size 10) coloured dark grey, like so:

.Using the eraser tool (Size 13 should do.) you create gaps in the wire, like so:

.Duplicate the background layer and delete the former one, so you can safely edit it using blending options.
.Using the magic wand tool, click once in the white surroundings of the wire and hit delete.
.Enter the blending options of this layer by either right clicking the layer, hitting blending options, double-clicking the layer, or Layer>Layer style>Blending options.
.Adjust the Drop Shadow option using the following settings or something near to them: 87 Opacity, 6 Distance, 25 Spread, 18 Size.
.Next, Inner shadow with the following settings: Color Dark-blue-ish, Distance 6, Choke 26, Size 8.
.Now, Bevel and Emboss using the following settings: Technique: Chisel Hard. Depth 1000, Size 2, Soften 4.
Now it should look something like this:

.Create a new layer (Layer>New>Layer / Shift+Ctrl+N.).
.Now, pick a nice color, and get yourself the brush sized 7.
.Make sure the background layer is now on top of the new layer.
.Draw a line through all individual beads like so:
