I would love to; problem is the low horde presence means that full groups of alliance players have near-0 chance of actually getting into a BG together.

*shrugs* open to suggestions; maybe we can have a night where we all go in 2-3 man groups and just do small brokenup groups of hotc in there, hoping a few groups get bunched together

not really on topic, but wouldn't group duels be fun for guild events. as in 2or 3v2 or 3 instead of 1v1. too bad no way to do that.

As long as we could get enough people on to make enough teams out of it, we could go and do it in the Stranglethorn Arena, or even be uber ballsy and fight our way into the DM arena for it, then split into 5-man groups and run DM north for loot after.

Both of those ideas are good.

I would like unbalanced ffa in stranglethorn for our lowbies, and we could do a re-enactment of the pirate event, where first to kill mvb or his proxy gets the prize (combat log), or first to hold a trade window open for x seconds or something similar (trade isn't broken by combat tho?)

Something cool that we did when I was in might&magic was take 10 people to dire maul, kill the arena boss easily, split up the loot, and run 2 DM tribute runs in parallel, and keep tabs on how the two groups were doing semicompetitively.
If we do 50 or 55+ arena FFA, it could get potentially hott since other people could show up, even hordies :D

I do feel that running DM more is a good guild activity, many of us need class books etc (mememe) and there are some good drops for almost everyone there

The thing I like about DM gear is that it seems more than half of it is +crit or +spellcrit, and there's decent gear for all classes. It can be a slugfest to do the whole thing, but the ogre-only tribute side is genuinely quite easy and quick, and yields fantastic loot for the time invested, IMO.

Plus class-books are always nice, and there's the offchance that Fordror's Compendium of Dragonslaying might drop.
