Template Signatures

OK basically there are some times when I just have 5 minutes to screw around in PS. Not enough to make a screenshot based sig, but enough time to make some stuff that turns out well. When that happens, I'll post some results in sig form here. Whoever wants one can ask me to but their name to it by being the first to ask here.

So here they are.

yeah 3 is the best.

I'd add some wireframe stuff into 3 to make it semi-game specific too. Like maybe that GC2 tank kyle has in his sig

These will never be game specific :P . They are all made in very short ammounts of time, and I generally do not have time to mess around with screenshots. If you want a screenshot in one of them, request it separately and with that style.

Eventually I want to have a bunch of generic (i.e. non-gamespecific) sigs that people can download in psd form and just add their name to. This not only makes my job easier ;) , but a lot of people favor the pure abstract sig over something really complex and with a bunch of action.

3 has like the light and dark balance, and reminds me of Diablo 2s angels. One has an evil look to it and is just badass

There's some new ones.

I think the way this should work, just take the sig if you want it, and its fairly easy to put text over it. If you really want a 1337 text effect or something, post a sigrequest and then link to the template you want.

The last one is indeed made based on the tutorial found at that link.

The 2nd to last, I can't repeat exactly how...but basically, make 3-4 lens flares, apply chrome effect, adjust>hue/saturation and colorize it a very greyish blue, then duplicate the layer a bazillion times, flip the layers horizontally and vertically, and offset them, etc. Apply to each one filter>distort>wave, so that they are slightly twisted (barely any amplitude, huge wavelength). Finally, take all ur layers and screw around with their blend modes (mostly overlay, lightens, and dodges).

While we're on the subject, the ones based on tutorials are #2, #4, #5, and #9. If you look around on http://www.good-tutorials.com for long enough you should be able to find them. Most were texturizing tutorials. As for the rest, they are, insofar as I know, completely unique. If you want to know how to do them, go ahead and post here.

IMO the text doesn't fit at all with the bg. The circle in the upper left is kinda ugly too. I like the effect of the stuff around it, but the circle itself is just UGELY.
