I was having a huge argument on my bus with this kid who said "San Andreas has the best graphics ever and its really fucking realistic". I jumped in and corrected him, so he said "why dont you shut up and go play haaaaaloooo". I repeated to yell at him and tell him how much of a fag he was, and how Halo 2 was much more successful than any Grand Theft Auto game would ever be, and that it sold more. Obviously, the stupid high school-middle school kiddie crowd will like San Andreas because "it's cool and you can have sex" and stupid shit...the same reason kids sneak looks at their dad's playboy magazine. Well, I already know what the outcome will be, and theres another thread on it anyhow, but I'm posting a poll. What is better? Halo 2 or Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

More to games than just graphics. San Andreas is so immense that graphics have to be sacrificed.
This one is by far the best, in terms of storyline, voice acting, what you can do--its just so immense.

Yeah, graphics have NOTHING to do with how good a game is. As long as you can see what's happening. You're OK. lol
Most of the oldest games are the best...even today.
I still like FF7 as my favorite game...and the graphics suck now a days!

Snicker, stupid youngin's and their graphics, 100:1 that they would EAT up Daikatana if someone packaged it with nice and shiny graphics. Everytime I hear, but it sucks! it has bad graphics! I want to slam the persons head into a wall.
*cough* sorry I'll stop ranting.
Seriously, they are, from what you said 12 - 15 years old? Not exactly the age group I would go to if I wanted an intelligent opinion, they are mostly the sort you see on the internet trying to make posts in l33tsp34k!!111
And trying to argue with one is like trying to argue with a proverbial brick wall, even if you provide a superior arguement with evidence, they'll just stick their fingers in their ears and keep on screaming whatever they were saying.
Oh just out of curiousity, are these aforementioned kids white? I get a kick out of white kids from suburbia trying to "ghetto", which is the closest thing GTA San Andreas will ever let them be.

Add: I dont give a shit about both.
Edit: But lets be reasonable:
Halo 2 is a FPS with a nice MP potential, and - many say - dissapointg SP (seems to be the trend ever since HW2). The MP in Halo 2 is nice, and somewhat reminds us UT2003/4. However, Halo 2 has the same MP concept as Halo 1 PC had: Sneak behind your enemies, in an eternal cat-and-mouse style gameplay: Fight, retreat. Fight, retreat. And so forth, until you are dead. Granted, this is only one of the multiple modes of play, but you cant beat the fact that this is what Halo 2's MP looks like (it was less evident in Halo 1 PC, as it had health and health packs). There is little Quake-style here of just blasting through levels and killing everyone in short (or long, depending on primarily your ping) crusades. Some may like it (Halo 2's gameplay style), some may not (me being in the latter group).
San Andreas: Basically, GTA3 x3 with many (but not all) weapons of VC, and many Sims-like abilities. With all due respect: Noone gives a damn about the story. Big difference: Sound track. Sources reported that SA's sound tracks falls short of the one in VC/GTA3. And if awesome soundtracks arent what GTA games are mostly all about (besides the ability to hijack cool cars) (no, its not really about the "freedom to do everything you want" b/c we all played GTA3, right?), than I dont know what is. Sims-like feature? meh. Bigger areas? Nice, but is it really that hard to imagine VC + GTA 3 combined in one city? Besides, the cities are based on real counter parts. Just google for LA, Vegas and Frisko in the "pictures" type search.
Oh, and there are no new significant weapons. Another GTA trend.
Conclusion: Stop worrying about "what is better" shit and play what you like.

Shh.
You can't compare FPS gamers to RTS gamers btw. FPS is mindless shoot'em up action, while RTS requires a limited process of thought.
