Well little background for those who don't play eve.

I'm flying a claw, which is an interceptor. Designed to be uber fast and tackle battleships so they can't get away. Has barely any "hitpoints" and is pretty fragile.

Unfortunatly for assault frigs, I have come up with a setup on my ship which sacrifices all of the speed for pure damage and armor. As such, it is unbelievably perfect for killing assault frigates, as they assume I am no threat, when I am in fact specifically designed to kill them.

I am fighting assault frigates, which are designed to kill interceptors, and have high damage and high resists.

Well, as for difference between EvE and HW2... well, hw2 is a strategy game, and eve is a roleplaying game/combat sim.

In eve you only controll one single ship at a time, though you can own many, and you can fit out each ship to fit whatever role you chose, rather than having fixed ships like marine frigates and bomber fighters etc.
