it's the juries... the problem is that juries are too fucking stupid, that's right your fellow americans, to recognize that it's not their job to punish people they don't like... but to rule upon the LAW. They always nail corperations because they don't like them... which is even more stupid then not judging on the law is... as without corps we'd be up shit creek without a paddle...


The corps wouldn't mind so much at losing everytime no matter what happened if the juries couldn't stack on millions of dollars in damages. If you said to them "buy this man a new <whatever he fucked up>" they'd go "fine"... but nailing these people again and again for millions to billions is just insane.


Did anyone hear about the lady that 'found' a finger in her chilly at wendy's? Yeah, she put it there. They did DNA testing on the finger and it belonged to a friend of the family that had been in an industrial accident.
