I really am surprised that it didn't beat Halo 2.

hl2 wil be very good, but it was due out ast year, i doubt it will be what it would have been then, its not new anymore

and the fuckers only send you the steam files on the dvd, and a smal peice of paper syaing hlw, controls, lol so aparantly it takes forever to decript

Dude? Have you even played it? The graphics put Halo2 to shame, and the physics (friction, buoyancy, and gravity), are perfect. The only thing I regret is not be able to play it a max graphics, but I'm getting a new CPU this weekend.

PC gamer gave HL2 a 98%, and I would trust PC game before Gamespot.

Its alright, cs source is very very poor. HL2 gets better as it goes along (im on the ant lions bit). IMO moh,mohaa,pax payne are still the best sp games,+ morrowind.

ratings of the games from any people such as game spot and pc gamer just give there opinion of the game...means nothing. In moy opinion, Half-Life2 is better than Halo 2.

No dude, I didnt at ALL mean it that way. I really really thought that HL2 was going to at LEAST have a better SP.
