he was killed in Iraq... He was Nikki's brother and one of my best friends. The last time I talked to him was in a Email 2 weeks ago.

Nikki hasen't left the house in 3 days. She loved Jake. He was the most fun person to be around. He always made people happy, even in the worst of times. He sid he couldn't wait to get back home, to play Halo 2 and GTA:SA.

He even asked about joing TLSC, just to play UT with me and my online firiends. He kicked ass in any match. He was going to come here and and ask for a tryout when he was home. I didn't even get to say goodbye when they shipped him out.

After talking about him, I relise how much I miss him. Now, I'm not usally the sensitive type, but I feel like crying. After seeing Nikki like that, I wish there was more I could do.

Wow, a loss of a parent at the age of 8... I feel sorry for you, man. Not growing up with a father figure. Unless your mom remarried. But, a step dad just isn't the same.

I cannot express how sorry I am about your dad.

Well, I'd strongly urge you to go to the funeral to say your final goodbyes. You might end up regretting it later if you don't, and never be able to forgive yourself.

Sorry for your loss. :(

:\

Remember not only to mourn, but to celebrate what he did in his life, his life's accomplishments, and most importantly, how he died: In service to the country, dying for the cause of freedom.

There is no greater sacrifice.

cheers, and

I can't sleep, so I'm here, talking to who ever will listen.

I remember when he told me about Nikki. I didn't even know who she as until he introduced us last year. We started to hang out every day. Then we started to go to parties as each others dates accept we weren't offical dating then. But later that week, I asked her out. She said, "Did you even have ask." and hugged me....

Now, Nikki and I are a great couple thanks to her brother.

All thanks to him, and I didn't even say goodbye...

My condolences. I have felt heavy loss. I personally know 15 service members in Iraq currently. One lost his best friend in the corps. Killed in Falluja by a suicide bomber pretending to be wounded. Those who died in Iraq have died honnorable deaths. They fight for the cause of freedom. Celebrate their lives, knowing they paied the ultimate price for others, not even fellow countrymen, but fellow human beings.

Go, say your goodbye's. If nothing else, that is what you must do. I've lost more people I love than I can count, and the only one's I still reget to this day is the one's I never said my goodbye's to. Good luck, praying for your loss. . . .

And that's why the U.S.is a great nation, and we all should respect the American People, who have the collective guts to suffer these losses for what they believe is right, or if they don't, just for their country's honour.

My condolences.

Damn man, participating in your sorrow (well, thats what we say here, anyway).

Sorry for your friend, and for all those who gave up their lives to buy us freedom.

May your friend rest in peace. To die in the name of what he believed in, is to be a better person for it.

I know how tough that must be, but, whatever happens, you'll live through. Look back on his death with joy, for all the good he did. And, finally, go to his funeral, or you shall regret it badly.

I spent the day with Nikki today. We fell asleep on the couch watching movies, when the phone rang. Since we were the only ones at the house, I answered the phone. It was the school wondring why she hasen't been in for the past 4 days. I said that her brother was killed over in Iraq. She said she should still come in. I asked the lady what the her fucking problem was and hung up the phone. I walked back out from the bathroom to go back to sleep. Nikki asked who it was, I just said it was her dad checking up on us.

After I cooked her some Ramen, she wanted to go for a walk. We decided to walk around the woods for about an hour. We forgot it was still deer season, and me meet my uncle in his deer stand. He said down that there was a deer in th headrow right next to us. Right when he said that, it ran out. As he tried to get his bow up to atleast try and shoot it, he lost balance and fell. It was only about 10 feet up, he didn't get hurt. It was the first time I saw Nikki laugh in 4 days. It felt so good t osee her with a smile on her face... My uncle was laughing, too. I was just smiling.

I feel a lot better now that Nikki isn't crying anymore. Sho got on AIM and started talking to all her friends again. Finally our lives are getting back to normal...

Yeah, Nikki is the nicest girl I've ever met.

She stopped hanging out with her friends, because they asked her why she was going out with a freak who listens to ICP and wears a Halo sweatshirt.

And when I heard Robert, this idiot at my school, yell slut at her when she walked in the lunchroom, I tapped him on the shoulder cuase he didn't know I was behind him. His face turned white after he saw me. I was like, :howdy:, and just told him to shut up and walked to my table. Nikki walked passed him laughing.

You'll find someone. If I can, you can.

That's good.

Fear is a good weapon, especially vs. jerks.

Good to hear that things are going back to normal.

cheers, and
