CNN reported that Halo 2 has sold faster than Take Two's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in the first 24 hours. Halo 2 sold 2.4 million copies on November 9, while GTA: San Andreas has sold 2.06 million copies in the first day on October 26.

Ya I could care less about half life 2 also. But it probably will beat both. As hl 2 is by far a better shooter type game than halo I was never impressed halo. And Grand theft auto's pointless play was retarded unless you did the linear missions and I dont care for linear 1 player games.

Okay, GTA: SA, is far more fun, in my opinionthat GTA is a better game, much more replay value, and you can screw around doing nothing for hours on end, or you can do missions. Either way, its great fun.

Sorry, but you can't compare the two. Halo 2 is solely for xbox and GTASA is solely for the PS2.

ps: Hydra is teh pwn. And calling GTA "linear" is like calling a hamster a frog or... something. The entire concept behind GTA is that it breaks the bonds that the typical game gives you, and lets you do practically anything you want.

San Andreas = dozens of games in one nice, tidy package.
