I dont see why put a single hiig dd in that kind of... space... and snapping your name under it could look cool...

trash the dd and it will look better

or put a whoel armada in it

The colours dont really help eachother IMO. You have the bright white/sliverish and the orange DD. Its a tad bright for the object you are going with, if you want the DD in there you should try to have it or your name as the enphasis. Right now the background draws all the attention not for the best of reasons.

I agree with Prax, I think for the orange DD to work you should lower the brigtness of the rest of the image, and make the contrast in color the primary focal point of the image rather than the text.
