Hello all,

I have developed new versions of the DoW Scheme Editor and DoW Graphics Creator applications.

DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSIONS RIGHT HERE (http://www.occupyingforce.com/modules.php?name=Game_DoW_Scheme_Editor).

As always, these apps depend on the Microsoft .NET framework (version 1.1). There are forums on my clan's website (http://www.occupyingforce.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=24) for you all to give me feedback, report bugs, and request features, etc.

3.0.0.0 Release Notes
----------------------------
- By far the biggest addition in the 3.0.0.0 version of the "Dow Scheme Editor" is the inclusion of another brand new application called the "DoW Graphics Creator". The "DoW Graphics Creator" tool enables users to open GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIF or PNG files and easily resize and crop them to the correct size for a DoW banner or badge graphic. Then, when saving the image, the standard "Save" dialog opens in the appropriate folder (for banners or badges) and prompts the user to name the TGA file that will be written. As an added bonus, this tool also supports transparent GIFs and PNGs and is able to maintain the transparency in the alpha channel of the created TGA files. This new tool is a separate application file (called DoWGraphicsCreator.exe) but it is also accessible via a button on the DoW Scheme Editor application's toolbar and also as a menu item on the "Tools" menu.

Summary of features...
----------------------------
- Easily save a scheme for all races.
- PREVIEW your scheme colors on ANY UNIT or BUILDING in the game.
- Pick your army colors from your banner/badge graphics.
- Scheme Import and Export feature allows you to easily share you army scheme and graphics with friends and clan-mates.
- A "Replays" tab for viewing replay and player details.
- Save player schemes from replays (.rec files) along with badge and banner graphics. Now you can easily STEAL other peoples scheme images and colors (save those replays)! ;)
- A "Graphics" tab for banner and badge management. Supports deletion of graphics. Future version will hopefully contain a way to create these graphics.
- View Player Stats.
- Search for players, view their stats and add them as "Favorites", for easy tracking of stats. Easily track the stats of your entire clan!
- A color chooser dialog with all of the standard Games Workshop Citadel colors. This feature is for the 40k TT players.
- A "Clans" tab with links to the DoW clan websites that I know of.

Enjoy! :)

You should be able to unzip the folder anywhere on your PC. Just make sure you keep all the files together with the same layout as the inside of the zip.

Its a huge bummer that it is not working for you. In terms of troubleshooting the problem, I would start with confirming that you have version 1.1 of the Microsoft .NET framework installed. If you don't or you are unsure, you can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en

If that does not fix your problem please considering posting your bug report on the app's official forums (I check these most regularly). http://www.occupyingforce.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=24

Hmm, bummer. Yes, it is the program with the paint bottle icon.

Do you have version 1.1 of the Microsoft .NET Framework installed? See the "Installation and Setup" section of this page:
http://www.occupyingforce.com/modules.php?name=Game_DoW_Scheme_Editor

If you are still having problems with the program, please post a description in these forums:
http://www.occupyingforce.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=24

Thanks!
