Quit complaining about Halo 2

First off, I just want to say,sorry if I come off sounding mean.

Look, I'v heard alot of people here saying that Halo 2 sucks cuz "It's too much like the first one!!" "There's nothing NEW!!!!"

This is what I have to say about that.

If you want something different, play another game.

Halo 2 is basically building off of halo's success, it's improving gameplay and adding new Vehicles Weapons and abilites. That was it's mission. It wasn't trying to make somthing TOTALLY new and inventive.

Think about it, if they made it durastically different, nobody would want to play it, cuz it wouldn't even be Halo anymore. Right?

People would be even more mad if they DID make it different. Even I would be mad.

Why would any developer NOT want to build off of Halo's success? It would totally alienate the series.

It's Halo people! What where you expecting!?!?!

Look, Chef, you haven't played the game. You're defending it for no reason other than your desperate desire for it to be good. Shut up until you play it. Even then you're so hyped up and obsessed over it, you're not going to give an honest eval, but at least then you even CAN give an eval.

Additionally, you don't have any right to tell people they have to like a game for what it is ... that's like telling people they have to like the upcoming Star Wars III (which I won't even waste money on, personally) without even having seen it (or even after seeing it).

I DO know from reviews that it is an amazing game.

I've heard so many people talk about this 'bad' ending. You do know you get a bigger ending if you play it on legendary, right? and a lot of the plot points in the game are actual referals to the book that came out, fall of reach, or something?

Oh i haven't yet completed the game so don't mention what the ending is plz.

I haven't read the books but this is what i heard. I do know there's an extended ending if you clock the game on legendary, same way as Halo1. Might not be much but if it's like the first it migh be funny.

I've heard rumors it's not a true ending. This is due to the fact that they are planning on releaseing aditional missions over xbox live. Plus some "secret content"

I think that's not true. I believe I've read that it's just wishful thinking from the diehard fanboiz who are trying to reconcile the ugly ending in their heads. Would suck pretty bad for all of the non-livers, and for that reason Microsoft probably would never do it. It would also be free in that case, when they could make tons more money by creating a third game.

That's most gaming companies or software companies or really "anything" companies for you. If they can make money, they're going to.

On the other side of the ball, live release would fuck over everybody without cable/ethernet connection, and for a LOT of people, myself included (even though I have a conn), the beauty of consoles is that you can game with your friends over a few brews WITHOUT having to log online and play with faceless names on the global internet. Would suck if we had to sign up for something we didn't even want to use with a console just to get updates.

Halo isn't for multi player only. I bought it for the story, because I have read every book and I just wanted to know what the hell was going to happen. Yes, multi player is great but I bought the game for it's single player. I can't get live cause DSL/Broadband is not offered where I live...

If they release downloadable content it will also be released on the OXM liek they have before.

It takes about two years to make a game, at least. They have said they will release more content. The instruction manual says they are releaseing missions as well.

I'm not really a fan boy but i have been waiting for this for a long time.

This game is good. The bad things are fixed and the good things are better. The overpowered pistol was removed. People use every weapon. The campain is fun. Playign as the Arbiter feels like an espionage game. Fightign through the city kicks ass. The flood hijack your ghost. It's a beautifly made game. What is you guy's deal with a game that has as few flaws as this accually has? It did not meet your standards? It's a great game. If the average reveiw is over a 9/10 it can't be as bad as people make it out to be. People seem to harp on the bad things abotu the game. But it has just as many good points.

You need to stop being a critic on only the bad things guys.

I don't think it is a bad game. I think i could have been better, though. I only have 2 problems with it.The ending, ***Spoilers***




and playing as the Arbiter... I mean, god, MC is to kick ass to have HIS spotlight of HIS game stolen by HIS enemy.

I would not be surprised at all if they released more missions and story...I kinda know the ending because when I was at EB at the mall, I was playing it will THE most annoying little 12 year olds EVER. They pretty much ruined the ending for me, even though I told them like 5 times to SHUT UP.

Oh well, the stopped giggling when I owned em acouple of times.

What sucked though, is that a 12 year old kid who HAS THE GAME AT HOME, came in a burgaled my controller!!!
